A fitting conclusion. Season 5 arrives at just the right moment to wrap up the story. While The Equalizer may have originated from a DEI-driven concept, its fairly complete portrayal of the core cast helps to mask some of the show’s inherent flaws. As a result, The Equalizer may not stand out as an exceptional action series, but it remains sincere and effective as a family drama.
