This show looks for me a little bit as a comedy. I like how everyone plays. However, the actress Kyra Segdwick, who plays main character annoys me sometimes. She eats/snacks all the time. Twists her head and body. She is 40 years old, however she acts like a teenager. Take smile. Sarcastic. She probably plays her roll well, just annoying. Just like in a comedy.

A masterpiece of crime-police drama. The characters are memorable and make each episode worth watching. The over-arching story is thrilling and you see character growth over 7 seasons; credit to the writers. If you can get over how most episodes follow the same formula/structure, you can really get into enjoying this show for what is it; gritty, funny, dramatic, sobering and disturbing at times, but still quality television. One of my all-time fav tv shows.

The Closer is an excellent show with memorable characters. Kyra Sedgwick leads an amazing cast.
