Paying close attention to SOA's array of outlaws makes the series an even more richly detailed portrait of self-righteous villainy.

Love this show! You will too, don't listen to the haters that get "offended" by every curse word... it's a TV show about a 1% motorcycle club people, they are outlaws and criminals! what did you expect!!?!?!

Continues to be a fantastic show. The plot is just so absorbing it's insane, the acting is really good, and the direction is always top-notch. It is hard to find any faults in the show at all.

If you're not meant to think too hard about what's happening, then "Sons" largely succeeds at its goals, particularly given the performances, the direction (led by Emmy winner Paris Barclay) and Sutter and his writers' talent for crafting gut-wrenching individual moments.

Sons may be as busy as it is brutal, but at least its heartlessness is in the right place.

The second season revealed artistic ambition, reaching for a certain amount of depth in characterization and storytelling. Assessed on that level, the last two seasons have fallen far short of the mark and it seems season five will only repeat the pattern.

It's weird that in the show's fifth season, the stakes actually feel lower than they did a couple of years ago.

Son's of Anarchy has strayed from narrative substance and rich character development it built over the first 3 seasons. The characters are almost impossible to identify with, as the level of self-destructive tenancies leave the viewer to believe SAMCRO as the most amateur of criminal organisations. Bring back intelligent character driven resolution instead of the reactionary lowest common denominators the viewers are no subjected to. Respect for your viewers will keep them riding with SOA a little bit longer; however at this pace, this season will be my last.

Normally I would say that this is a great show but after watching the 4th and some of the 5th season I've realized that not only are the characters not dynamic but it seems the producers could not come up with new material for Clay and some of the other conflicted characters. It seems that they were set on keeping the 'guy you wanna hate' scenario going on through the entire story, but after a while it gets old seeing the same characters doing the same old things just in different ways. I'm moving on to a different series with more substance.

Yet another show that has absolutely no basis in reality whatsoever, a bad soap opera for men. It would be difficult to find a more dislikeable group of sociopaths. Utter rubbish
