Intriguing and suspenseful. This only big flaw I see is the casting of the Fisher father and son. Not realistic. The actors themselves are only 12 years apart. Perhaps a wider net should have been cast for Indian actors born in England.

Great writing and exploration of a part of British history and current society rarely talked about in mainstream media. Suspenseful and gripping story. Great characters and brilliant acting. Would love a third season. Similar to Happy Valley but not quite as good. Still a brilliant show and well worth watching.

I think overall the show was good, with well thought out and complex charecters, awesome cinemaphotography and great capture of tense atmosphere. That being said, there were a few pointless boring plotlines, i think one character was written particularly lazily written and i think the series should have shown certain segments in a different order, which would have made the series as a whole much more compelling. I still thought it was good though with a mostly satisyfing conclusion and would reccomend it.
