Orange loses little steam in its fourth tour of duty, with extremes of dark comedy and bitter tragedy, often heartbreaking in its depiction of metal illness and addiction, devastating in its escalation of racial conflict after the prison's cold-blooded new corporate owners flood the cell block with new bodies, triggering a demographic power shift. There isn’t another show that can go from laugh-out-loud funny to soul-crushing sadness in a beat.

This show honestly changed the game forever, it wasn't afraid to talk about real life problematic issues and represented them incredibly. There hasn't been a show yet that has even come close to the bar that was raised by this series. It showed everyone and anyone at their lowest and most vulnerable state and gave representation to all types of people whilst making it look effortless and natural. This show has changed my outlook permanently and has shed light on the flawed prison system with effect.

Orange Is the New Black [is] Netflix’s hilarious, addictive, fantastic new series about the goings-on at a low-security women’s prison.

While this fourth chapter in the saga of Litchfield Penitentiary gets off to a bumpier start than usual, it ends on such powerful notes that if you’ve ever been a fan, you simply have to view all 13 episodes.

Fans who hated the fifth season should mostly love the sixth, which is a return to normal, or as "normal" as "OITNB" ever gets. But the end does feel a little bit closer.

The show can be applauded for giving opportunities to a wide range of talented actresses and for representing a multiplicity of ethnicities and orientations in its characters, but the stories built around them are notable for their melodramatic underpinnings and an occasional willingness to resort to clichés.... But Ms. Kohan and her writers, abetted by their excellent cast, know how to leave us laughing.

I began watching this tv show sometime in 2019 so I was kind of late but I loved it from the moment I watched till the last time I watched it which is always changing. I've rewatched this tv show so many times cause it's that good. I've cried so many times watching scenes that hit you so hard. I literally delayed watching the final season because I was so sad that I had to finish the show.

An excellent wrap up for a show I've been watching for seven season. It's easy to forget how groundbreaking "OITNB" was during it's premiere back in 2013. It was one of the first bingeable shows and brought tons of subscribers to NetFlix as a result. It focused primary on woman. The cast was made up mainly of women of color. Women of all different shapes, sizes, ages and orientations were represented. It was one of the first shows to feature a trans woman (Laverne Cox) in a leading role. "Orange" always had a lot of heart-- even when the plot dragged. The final scene was both brutal and beautiful in it's depiction of ICE detainees. Those poor women have no way out and no hope for the future. "OITNB's" latest legacy may be in humanizing the women it depicted and making audiences more sympathetic to their cause. A few bad decisions and there but the grace of God go I.

Fairly funny show set in womens prison. I did find that the story kinda floundered after the first season and lacked direction. Overall watchable though for the most part

A far leftist political agenda at hand. Stopped watching after episode 4. They are shoving their hateful modern day man hating feminism down our throats. Disgusted at the amount of fabricated information in this series about ICE detention centers (expired food etc.) when these people that came here ILLEGALLY are treated better than our own homeless people and black communities! Watch WENTWORTH it is a much better (more real too) show without all the propaganda shoved down your throat. This is why so many young people cant deal with reality. Social media and shows like this are lying to you!
