A solid idea for a game set in a experimental setting. Worldbuilding is quite good. Interesting way to explore the lore of the world. Gameplay is fun if simplistic, its always fun to throw things with telekenieis. Though gets old fairly quickly even when trying to introduce new abilities. The game is really annoying to navigate at times, some areas are meant to be hidden but even trying to follow the main story can be difficult because of the awful map layout.

Dragon Age: Origins8
Aug 20, 2024
Game is enjoyable and the world builiding is very impressive to make an interesting and dynamic world. Gameplay naturally feels quite dated compared to modern games but is passable if slightly frustrating. The silent protaganist feels very awkward at times and was a strange decision. Some gameplay sections are very sluggish and take way too long Story is fun and feels engaging and fresh , some of the side quests feel empty and pointless. Companions are very fun and help develop the story more.

Dragon Age II7
Aug 20, 2024
Fun and Enjoyable game. Criticisms of it are legitimate, its clearly made in a rush off the previous game and all the areas tend to be repeats of previous. The game play tends to be just spamming buttons over and over again Main story is quite rushed particularly towards the end however characters are very fun and enjoyable.

Dragon Age: Inquisition3

Find it the weakest of the trilogy by far Story us fine, nothing particularly engaging but a passable story if a bit predictable and stale. A few of the story missions are fun enough. Game has too many companions and fails to develop them very well as a result, they comment on quests very little compared to earlier games. The world continues to be engaging and interesting however a large part of this was developed in previous titles The Gameplay is horrendous, large open worlds with little to do, tricky to navigate and annoying to interact with. Very very boring gameplay. The game also has a unnesecary number of bases, menus and crafting systems. In addition for whatever reason the game spikes in difficulty massively in the DLC's, so it clearly requires you to complete the mindnumbing fetch quests before playing Genuially was just wanting the game to end from very early in playtime but continued to push on hoping it would improve

Dumb fun zombie game. Much more fun with friends or even randoms than solo. Probably worth waiting til a sale but great to just chill out and have fun with Gore mechanics are actually pretty impressive. Nothing special at all regarding story or characters but thats not really the draw

Enjoyable RPG set in harry potter universe. Story is decent enough and combat is fun and you can tailor with which spells you prefer Quite a cozy game to just relax with Some of the Puzzles get a bit repetative as do the enemy types

Fun far cry game. Perhaps played it at the wrong time as I was getting a little tired of the far cry formula by the time I started playing after playing 3 other far cry games already. However feels wrong to lower score due to that Game runs well, characters and story are interesting and fun combat

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me5
Jan 23, 2023
Okay entry to a series regularly suffering from technical issues and slightly goofy storytelling Introduction is very slow and the villan is probably the weakest in the story so far. Also the game more than ever feels like the devs are experimenting with mechanics, there is a massive amount of little things to remember which adds very little to the game itself However I will say choices are quite interesting and the second half of the story picks up a lot more. A nice game to just chill out and enjoy

Pokemon Scarlet3

Despite the attempt at an open world the game honestly is pretty bad. Not one to judge on graphics but the peformance issues are horrendous even with poor graphics for an ugly and bland open world with zero flavour. You constantly run into pop in pokemon or are charged by higher levels. The intro is particularly annoying and slow with the amount the NPCs stop you however even when the game opens up the gameplay feels annoying The game series continues to remove old mechanics. You can't turn off battle animations so each subsequent battle feels slow. Set mode has also been removed as even an option Navigating all the menus is worse than ever and the despite looking so empty the world map is actually really irritating to navigate as well with all the mountains and rivers. With the "true open world" you have no idea how strong a certain place is til you go in right up until you are in a battle. The controls layout is also beyond irritating, lacks consistency and can't be changed. Why is B crouch while walking but jump while riding?? I hate being negative but this game is straight up bad.

First game ive enjoyed from company since until dawn. It nails the B movie horror vibe well and the characters move from annoying to charming as you play. I will say the gameplay is even more non exsistant than previous ones and you mostly lose characters to glitchy game mechanics that arent explained well. Removed another point for no rewind feature which makes replaying a real chore to see alternative paths.

Game is fun and the customization compared to older titles is really nice. The gameplay is still fun though gets old quickly after a while, though get thats what the game goes for though it feels like you are just refreshing the shop for an item you might actually want eventually. A chill game to just chill out with. I do find the villagers in this one to be very dull and uninteresting and that was what kept me playing before, only so many fossils you can dig up.

Was hoping this would be a fun co op game however its just not all that interesting. No versus gamemode and as such it just gets old fast. The difficulty is also bizzare in that it gets harder and harder the more people you play with which if anything makes wanting to chill out with friends pointless. The game will spam the special zombies at you to the point you are just shooting mindlessly. Its just forgettable

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare4
May 7, 2022
Decent enough COD game, campaign is short and fairly enjoyable, characters are okay and some missions have variety. Multiplayer is simaler to it was years ago, fun enough with friends for a few games, cant complain about the game itself at all. Fairly solid COD game. However game is really glitchy and runs very poorly and you are forced to download warzone to play it for some reason, game took nearly a day to install all that nonsense and continues to run poorly aftewards. Campaign straight up does not work sometimes. The game itself is good but cant recommend due to poor performance

Pretty chill game, some parts were a bit slow even for a game like this along with being a fairly predictable plot. However probably the most likebale protaganist and side characters in the series so far. Game returned to its roots well with solid sountrack and comfy small town feel.

Watch Dogs: Legion4
Oct 31, 2020
Game puts a lot of stock in the "you can play as anyone" which is kinda cool but remains nothing more than a gimick. It ends up resulting in a group of cardboard characters with dodgy voiceacting doing random missions which usually involve trying to find the way to the roof of a building to press a button. The world and combat is fine but nothing amazing. The "hacking" feels very limited and quite dull honestly. The story is pretty bland and generic. Ive also had several crashes while playing, maybe after fixing these and adding mutliplayer it might be okay. But all around one to skip.

Solid park builder game, dinosaurs move, sound and look great with a massive variety in types. Career mode is fun enough with sandbox mode for more freedom. The terrain on a lot of the maps is a real pain at times and you cannot place things anywhere. The lack of customization on anything bar the dinosaurs limits things somewhat.

Detroit: Become Human8
Oct 13, 2020
Arguably one of the best games in the choice genre for choices mattering. Interesting world of androids which make the uncanny valley nature of these games actually work given all the characters are robots. Has all the usualy david cage issues of awkard dialogue and weird character development but again works better than usualy given the characters android status. Great graphics and some pretty nice moments and decisions.

Notable improvements from the previous base game, a lot more consistency in your actions rather than leaving most events to % chances a year. Leaves a lot more time to simply have fun with the game rather than sitting around waiting. Will admit the game gets a bit repetative currently with no expansions however have still sunk plenty of time into it. Graphics are better with less stutterting than the previous game.

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series5
Oct 13, 2020
The game starts out as a decent sideshow to the tv series (there is no reason to play this without having seen the show up to at least season 5). It includes well written characters in a slightly offputting artstyle, some characters from the show also appear with actual voice actors from the show. Game gets into a good pace around episode 4 however then throws most development away to focus on show characters again. Pretty dissapointing and miserable story overall, they clearly wanted a multi season thing but never made a sequel. Usual telltale issues of chocies not mattering (made worse here given you always lose), performance problems and slightly awkward dialogue
