It’s far from a bad show. It’s just a disappointing Welcome to Wrexham follow-up, at least so far.

In the end, Necaxa comes off like a series stuck in between and beholden to dueling and competing interests (and audiences). One wishes it would better understand who it wants to be speaking to. Maybe then it could give us something to really root for.

All the peculiar magic of the parent show is painfully absent.
