One of my two favorite shows on TV. I am watching the interaction of the characters and how they care for each other. Pride is a great supervisor and has a pulse on each of them while constantly learning more about them. All have pain from their lives which we know is there but don’t know the details yet. I am ex-military so I can see the other type of relationships here, those between the service members/veterans. I identify with the women who work in non-traditional fields as women and how it feels to be ‘an outsider’ of the ‘boys game’. I do want to see Percy and LaSalle together and suspect that they will be evidentially. In the meantime I will suffer along with Sonja. The only bad thing is that they have managed to have one or two bad episodes each season knock their self out of best drama contention. The Fan was one of them. Keep at it writers. You have one of the best natural backgrounds in the business being in ‘Nola. I never get tired of what you throw at me.

Like the other NCIS’s often engaging and fun to watch. This one tends to get too intense as far as the team’s emotions and personalities are concerned. Gibbs does things his own way, but he seldom obliterates the rules anymore. Pride has no such limiter on his actions and now the show is as much about his failings as it is about the team’s successes. IMO, Pride should have been canned. That being said, the team does have some interesting members and does have the potential to make this version of the franchise close to the quality of the others. The forced sense of “family” and loyalty to Pride is not as obvious in the acting as it is in the lines of the script. I just don’t feel it is there. In morality plays, the characters are often named by their most prominent characteristic - Pride does think a lot of his own opinion of what is right and wrong. The fact that his nickname is “King” speaks volumes as well. Hope they fix the Pride character, but this whole “I gotta be me” thing needs to stop.
