This is one of the worst series I've ever watched. The only good thing about it were the cameos from characters from the movies (which I actually enjoyed)

Loved the movies but this is horrible!! It's not witty or smart, just OP characters that jump to conclusions quickly on barely any information and somehow are always right. Stopped watching after the second episode. Disney has fully lost its touch. Don't watch this!

A fun show with lots of random nuggets of history. Would reccomend for any family looking for something new.

I don't understand the hate for this show. It's a little woke, sure, but it isn't ham fisted like shows like Bel Air or Picard. This show is very much in line with the style of the National Treasure movies. It's a fun adventure show, and it has good character development. I really hope they don't cancel this one because if they can get Nic Cage for next season, it will be great. I find myself looking forward to new episodes every week. It really feels like people canned this show without even watching it. It has all the same elements of the films.

Characters are hot but the story is all over the place. The events that happen do so without explanation. Plot is very groaner heavy.

It’s not awful because it’s ‘woke’, most of which is ironic, and it’s not awful because it’s full of women. Honestly, National Treasure wasn’t ever a cultural bastion of masculinity. Seriously, it’s National Treasure. No, it’s awful because the writing is utter **** The plot is contrived beyond the pale and the cast are dying on their feet, without a shred of charisma to make it all go down smooth. The lead, in all fairness, is probably a fine actor but she labours under a exposition-heavy script full of misplaced millennial ‘humour’. The ensemble are bland at best, and club-your-head-off-a-wall-bad at their worst.

I am so disappointed with Disney. I love the original National Treasure movie with Nicholas Cage. I wanted to love this new show so much, but all Disney did was make more of this woke bull@#$%. Listen Disney: You don't improve the world or your image by subscribing to some "patriarchy" crap and then going the other extreme with feminism. Additionally, you're obviously hiring directors who are qualified based upon their gender/race versus their talent because this script could have been written better by someone in a laundromat. Again, I'm really disappointed by the direction you've taken to try and come up on the "right" side of history. It's obvious and you've lost the beat and subscribed to some crazy left-wing crap. Get your stuff together Disney, please. You're losing your good name for what you used to be known for: great stories, great execution, great fun. Now it's all about your agenda. Just stop!!!

Even wondering what this TV show is about. Feels more like a sitcom than National Treasure. Lots of conversations but barely any puzzle solving or even talking about treasures. imo: unworthy of the name national treasure. Episode are about 45 min long but a real snoozefest. Just bad in general and not what people expected at all.

National Treasure Edge of History is another shallow, superficial, stupid remake from the creatively bankrupt, inane morons that are modern entertainment “writers.” They lack the ability to come up with their own stories and keep decimating stories from the past. They are too incompetent to even copy. The characters are boring and cliché, the dialogue is frivolous babble, and the plot is generic and predictable. While the writing for the show is the main problem, that’s not all. The acting and effects are subpar as well. I know there are decent young actors out there (e.g. Jenna Ortega), so why do movies and shows keep hiring weak performers? Do they not go through auditions? Are they being selected based on shoe size? I remember when the one bad actor on a show stood out. Now it’s the one good one, if at all. I was utterly bored with this show. It has no redeeming features and is a complete waste of time and resources.

I loved the movies. The characters were funny, smart and classy. This tv show is trying to fill those shoes with young, woke, immature minds. Disney spent more time on making sure this tv show was diverse and woke than focusing on a good story to live up to movies standards.
