Acting is great, plot is makes sense, but pacing is kind of fast. However, this makes sense since they are trying to finish the show in two seasons. One more season could have done the show some good.

Characters are hot but the story is all over the place. The events that happen do so without explanation. Plot is very groaner heavy.

Such a terrible show. For the most part, the funny scenes try to be funny and miss. The slang tries to be cool but is outdated. The plot makes sense and has potential but is rushed so when the scenes try to be serious or hit home the tension isn't there to allow one to actually feel what the scenes are trying to convey. It's just a terrible show. Devoid of tension, emotion, or humor. Warwick's acting is so flat and emotionless. I'm upset with myself that I spent 8 episodes trying to watch it. And I've sat through a lot of trash TV. Why tf did the main characters hair color change over the course of the story? Was there an explanation for this? I will say there are some positive aspects of the show. I love the fact that Disney is leaning into a racially and sexually progressive agenda. I think this is very important for more tolerant and progressive society. I think the show is also visually stunning. I like the outfits. But none of these positive things are enough to save the show. I didn't watch the original because of its poor critical reception and I would have considered it had this show been okay but i'm definitely not gonna watch it now.
