All I kept thinking while watching Gaslit was: why did this star power cast sign on to such a poor show? It's a terrific show to put on if you need to fall asleep.

simply spectacular, the performances of Julia and Sean are off the charts, fascinating the way they tell you this crazy true story

While I enjoy it as a period piece in the vein of historical accuracy (the details and production values are amazing), but it's not really giving us anything new. I expected it was going to be about Margaret Mitchell, but 2 episodes in and it's not really about her. So far she comes off as a silly woman who feels out of place in DC, starved for attention from her incredibly busy husband. It's no wonder no one took her seriously. So, no one needed her to tell us Nixon was a pos. We found that out on our own.
