It certainly is no The Wire although certain elements (the complexity, the narrative, some of the actors) engender a The Wire vibe. Way too much exposition. Treats the audience as unintelligent. The positives: some fantastic performances.

All I kept thinking while watching Gaslit was: why did this star power cast sign on to such a poor show? It's a terrific show to put on if you need to fall asleep.

Better Things is one of the best shows FX has ever aired. No, it's probably not for everyone. Rather quirky humor. Great writing, wonderful acting, fun guest stars, terrific directing. I love it. My only complaint: it lasted only five seasons.

There isn't a single episode in this series worth watching. It felt like a bunch of student films (with 30x's more budget.) There isn't a single redeeming quality in ROAR. There isn't a likable character in any episode. Watching any of these episodes is absolute torture. Really embarrassing attempt considering the shows Apple+ has been churning out.

This show is one of the all-time best by writers. There are enough callouts to Breaking Bad to keep the viewer trying to figure out where we are going -- but not enough callouts to be intrusive OR to dissuade someone who never watched Breaking Bad. If you consider what they were given, a side character from a Top 50 great TV show, this series could have been a disaster. It's certainly not that. Better Call Saul may even rival Breaking Bad. Yes, there are absolutely fantastic actors but this is a writers show. A+

One of the poorest group of actors I’ve ever watched. LisaGay and Neve Campbell are the only two who should be acting professionally. The rest of these schleppers need to get into acting class. It’s a shame too because the premise has the makings of a half decent series albeit a network series. Doesn’t feel like a Netflix show. It belongs on a network. Really terrible acting makes this unwatchable. I don’t understand how Becki Newton gets auditions let alone gets studio and/or network approval. Bottom line: unless you’re a senior citizen, The Lincoln Lawyer is unbearable.
