The writing is sharp, the atmosphere thick with tension from, among other things, car and foot chases.

It’s a fast-paced shoot-’em-up/blow-’em-up affair (with the usual ridiculous disregard for actual public safety), but beneath the noise and oozing machismo, it’s not half bad as a deeper emotional story about family and trust.

Gang Related is if not the best show on TV one of the best. It makes you want more and more. I love action packed shows and this one is the best. Thanks FOX. Please we want more.

Great cop show. As far as other reviews from the supposedly experts pertaining to just another cop show with the same dialogue etc. Are there any original movies or tv shows out there. Hollywood is trying to come up with originals and cant find any new ideas. That's why cartoons are big hits at theaters.

Clunky dialogue, clichéd relationships, and an escapist action-flick aesthetic combine to subvert the ambition for gritty realism. It requires stronger vision and voice, as well as more distance; it can't decide whether to be likable or prickly.

The pilot episode, airing Thursday, is less than promising, but once you get used to the cliches, the loudly telegraphed plot developments and the unrelentingly phony look of the set, the show becomes watchable in subsequent episodes, thanks to a few of the key performances and some well-directed action scenes.

Pulp hooey with a comic book vitality and earnestness that manages to keep it (usually) on track.

A couple of hail-Mary maneuvers and a lucky coincidence come to the rescue. But it’s clear that Gang Related already has dipped deep into a well that only holds so much water.

In Fox’s instantly awful Gang Related, it’s pretty clear right away that you’re dealing with a pile of clichés that, pushed together and financed, can never be more than dreadful.

My husband and I are really enjoyed this show - best one we've seen in a long time!! Our friends have just started watching and they love it as well. Sure hope it makes it through for another season!

This show is compelling and focuses on a part of our society that I don't personally care much for. That being said, because of the content, I am not sure how well the show will do-but it is definitely entertaining, the writing is great, concepts/story lines are great, and the acting is great! I am really intrigued by all the characters and can't wait to see how they develop-I like this show. Don't care for the glamorization of gangsters, but hey-its television! :)

I dislike this show. I'm watching it only in hopes it gets better, and I'm bored. I'm tired of shows (Gang Related-The Bridge)writing dialogue in English, and directly translating it to Español. We (Mexican Americans) do NOT speak like that... We/they have syntax that makes sense in Spanish. You might have Mexican American actors, but at least get some speech coaches. Or do some due diligence, watch some Mexican Daytime soaps... They actually speak the language...

After watching a number of episodes, all I can say is that the story is just so predictable. The show is made from a number of old cliches strung together. The actors do not have much chemistry. This is what makes this show this show kind of boring.
