So far this season has had only a few really good episodes . I still enjoy it though because even average offerings of this are better than just about any other shows out there. I understand it might be the last season maybe as ratings are dropping but if it is it's been a great run and the rewatch value on the series is phenomenal.

This show is in a rut. It is the same sub-plot every week. Holmes discovers who murdered the victim using unorthodox methods while Watson and Detective Bell just tag along. What the Captain does is just sit behind a desk. Perhaps CBS should retire this show after season five ends.
