Dinner With The Parents is one of those shows that is elevated by the cast. Nothing about the show is particularly fresh or inventive, and some of the writing is maddeningly inconsistent. But the cast manages to take the material and make it funny.

While “Dinner with the Parents” doesn’t seem like it will last 10 years, it could surprise in ways we haven’t imagined. As long as the entrée is good, you can serve it every time guests come over.
