DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Legends of Tomorrow flies high as a kite, and the kite was hit by lightning, so now it’s an omnisexual talking kite firing electric rays at sexy history. ... A little self-awareness goes a long way, but Legends has a charm that’s more old-fashioned than meta. Every adventure is a game of dress-up.

In actual practice, Hunter’s invitation necessitates a great deal of discussion and debate. ... But once said conversations have been had, after the i’s are dotted and t’s crossed, the times ahead promise to be spread across the ages and a whole lotta fun.

Though the show immediately jumps into battling Nazis, everyone’s favorite time-traveling starting point, it’s also glib about the choice. For those who gave up on Legends after its disappointing first season, take heart that the story might finally be getting the justice it deserves.

The groan-worthy dialogue’s a head-scratcher, as Legends Of Tomorrow was developed by the team responsible for Arrow and The Flash, while showrunner Phil Klemmer is a veteran of quippy favorites Veronica Mars and Chuck. But the bigger mistake here might have been creating a show starring characters who wouldn’t be compelling enough to anchor their own star vehicle.

[Arthur Darvill's Rip Hunter is] definitely the best part of the show. Which is all the more aggravating when he gets sidelined for long stretches in favor of the more familiar characters.... Some things work great, though. A 1975-set bar fight involving Lotz, Miller and Purcell is quite fun, and the action in general scenes genuinely work, helping the fledgling series come together. But when the characters stand around and talk, things start to feel silly.

After the characters try to explain the timeline once too often, it gets confusing and you just stop caring about what's going on. So even if the cast is pretty good, which it is, and even if the show has some excitement at times, Legends--so far--comes off as something of a mishmash of a mash-up.

Legends of Tomorrow can't make its characters jell, can't clarify its narrative mission and can't get out of its own way and stop talking.

It's entertaining but constantly pushes feminist views. Such as female characters get alot more character development and male characters are portrayed as more of a comedic relief and childish.

The frist season it was ok, so keep on watching in the hope it would get better... But the serie just become worste and worste... The dude who wrote the script just got mental problems... Even a 10 years old child would do it better

Oh la vache, c’est du lourd, de l’ultra méga lourd en matière de lourdeur de série écrite avec les pieds ! bien sûr, on s’y attendait tout à fait à vrai dire mais à ce point tout de même, ça devient putain de gênant ! les dialogues navrants, les situations grotesques, le scénar de paumard… Toute la série ou le peu qu’on arrive à voir (à supporter), le peu (et c’est déjà trop) qu’on tente de regarder, le peu qu’on essaye en vain de visionner s’avère de tute manière d’une pénibilité extrême ! c’est consternant de maladresse et de naïveté… et de niaiserie aussi, ainsi que d’une stupidité qui s’ignore (serait-ce en fait une caricature ratée au treizième degré ?)… Les comédiens et comédiennes sont en roue libre là-dedans mais j’espère que le salaire était à la hauteur, car tout de même le ridicule a des limites… et dire qued cette bouse s’est répandue sur pas moins de 7 saisons, c’est dingue ! une daube légendaire que même en accéléré façon Flash, tu tiens pas le coup tellement elle est putain de nulle à chier !!
