Beavis and Butt-head

I happen to believe Beavis and Butt-head is a work of twisted brilliance... It's cringingly blunt and cheerfully offensive. It's also a richly textured, dead-on satire of teenage life and pop culture, which explains its growing appeal with Generation X and even some baby boomers who haven't lost their senses of humor. Beavis and Butt-Head are who they've always been, for ill or (comedically) for good. I'm glad to have them back.

It definitely has its moments.

It's not essential anymore, but it's still welcome.

Reality TV has blessed us with so many idiots to laugh at, it's overkill to have a couple of animated jackasses describe what a jackass Snooki is.

You either like Beavis and Butt-Head or, if you're like most of the world, you don't. And they don't care. If you do, it will be good news that they are back and better news that they've lost nothing off their fastball.

There is--beneath the stale crust of the new Beavis and Butt-head, baked in with the program's existential outlook--a special grimness.

Beavis and Butt-Head is a great TV show that is funny and funnier. Mike Judge's debut is the best one there is.

There are still some jokes that may be far too lazy, but 30 years later this show has mastered almost a very -let's be clichéd for a second- "zen" way of creating beauty with void: Indeed, it is when the action stops, where the animation is frozen, when the silence takes over that the pause reveal the very some utterly true but crooked moments of hilarity in our human condition. And it's balanced with the acerbic obliteration of the pop-music acts of this stupid generation or inane youtube videos. Thank you Mike Judge!

I was never a huge fan of the show, but it did have its funny moments. Maybe now, as an adult, I can sit and watch Beavis and Butt-head and possibly appreciate the stupidity of the characters. I think I was just not able to relate to the characters like other people could when the show first came out in the 90's. I am the type of person that, if I can't relate to something or someone on a show, I change the channel. Plus, it was the 90's and this show was on MTV, I only wanted to see music videos, not cartoons about 2 dumb headbangers watching tv and critiquing music videos.
