Greetings from Lithuania.
"X-Men: First Class" (2011) is one of the best superhero origins movies ever made. I was blown away by it upon original release back in 2011, and have enjoyed it very much rewatching in 2026 on 4K UHD. This film is stacked with top tier actors playing a younger versions of X-men we came to enjoy before 2011. I liked this movie because its story here is very good. We do get to see a great beginnings of all these characters. The plot about missile crisis in Cuba was a great one - they did mixed real life events with superhero movie plot - this is a rare one and it's still works. Amazing production values are in this film as well excellent acting, great writing, directing and storytelling. I was amazed of much I was involved in a story of "X: First Class" - this rarely or never happens in superhero realm.Overall, "X: First Class" is a great X-Men origin story and movie. One of the best there ever was.

Another crowd-pleasing comic-book film designed to bring in new fans while gratifying the old ones.

X-Men: First Class isn't anywhere close to being a genre classic like "Spider-Man 2" or "The Dark Knight," but it is good enough to rejuvenate a franchise stuck on idle.

Still, the deadliest single element in this film can be traced not to Bacon's character, but to composer Henry Jackson, whose music seems determined to kill us all with waves of dramatic nothingness.

These ludicrous but endearing moments of bro-bonding are all that sets this otherwise stock-issue superhero movie apart from its mass-produced brethren.

A cameo from an old-school X-Man only serves to remind how stylish and witty the first installment was a decade ago. Lacking a single memorable joke or striking image, First Class is as perfunctory and passionless as would-be franchise resurrections get.

Film with a rather classic but particular story because the story is the background to the development of the friendship-rivalry between the two protagonists, who are described very well in the film and a prequel film for the original trilogy is created that is really well done and effective. Compared to the others in the saga, it is less focused on action but on illustrating the relationship between the characters and this makes it different from the other films and very appreciable

This film is so stupid. The dialogue is stupid, scenes are stupid, even Magneto. I see what they tried to do here, but the ways they use in this movie are just stupid and dumb. It could be a good movie if the script was stronger
