Vacation is lazy, idiotic, and gross — and I laughed my ass off at it.

Sweet, self-aware and silly, the new Vacation doesn’t destroy memories or alienate newcomers – but neither does it break the mould.

Some dumb jokes but over all it was really funny. I couldn't stop laughing most of the time.

Hilarious film that is not to be taken seriously or compared to old ones. Belly laugh for most of the film. Great if you don't want to concentrate on plot and just relax.

It’s just a middling cover of a pretty good old song, adrift in the present day.

After a while, Vacation starts to reek like a car when the kids have their shoes off. Really, though, that stench is a studio digging through its old titles, trying to find something fresh to remake.

Movie Nation
With every desperate F-bomb, every “Dad, what’s a rim job?” crudity, every crass overreach into vulgarity, Vacation feels pointless, dated and dirty.

Time Out
These charmless characters are meant to learn that spending time with each other isn’t so bad, yet surviving 100 minutes with them is one of the great cinematic endurance tests of our time.

If any of this was surprising or cleverly timed, you'd laugh and then cringe. In Vacation you cringe first and ask questions later.

Vacation is all the raunchy humor and laughs that comes with such a title, perhaps a little bit more "adult" then it's grandparents, Vacation if a fun, filthy, heart warming story of a family simply trying to keep it together. Reminds me a lot of my own family and the kind of dumb, stupid stuff we had to suffer through. I don't consider this a reboot, this is a sequel to a film. It makes the clearly apparent via characters and story line. Young Rusty is now a man with his own family and his own problems and he attempts to revive his family through a family vacation to the place he so fondly remembers, It may not be a National Lampoons film, but it's still great on it's own merits. All the haters are just turds with no lives and looking for something to complain about. Out of all the movies that have been shown in 2015, this one does not deserve the hate it gets.

Mediocre light non-committal comedy. Few good and funny moments. There is absolutely no "growing up" of characters, no changes, so it's not clear why all this was conceived at all.

If you like unfunny **** jokes and shock humor that makes your stomach churn more than actually laugh, this is the film for you. Anything good that happens in this film is ALWAYS countered by something bad, and you lose all optimism for the characters (who you don't give a **** about anyway.) This movie is atrocious, I'd rather give myself a vasectomy with a pair of safety scissors as opposed to watching this again.
