The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is everything you want in a movie: the fight scenes are bloody and exciting, the dialogue is tongue-in-cheek, every joke landed, and not one actor felt out of place.

There’s a glee in the Nazi killing and an exceptionally dry humor that is English through and through, but Ritchie strikes a tone that rides the line between self-serious and self-consciously humorous.

It’s all in good fun, if a little shallow.

As another one of the director’s mid-budget, mid-level crowd-pleasers, it mostly works – well-made enough to distract in the moment but not quite enough to last in the many after, unlikely to catapult him to the top or sink him to the bottom.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare would seem to be an almost ideal project for Ritchie—which is why its lethargy comes as such a dispiriting surprise.

The disappointment in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare lies in how much potential it had to be something more.

The film has zero finesse even by Ritchie’s standards, but if star ratings were calculated on body count alone, give it hundreds.

Thoroughly enjoyed this good-paced and fun journey of formidble men and women fighting for something greater than glory of country.

I don't understand the modern film trope of depicting warriors who are somehow so fearsome that their enemies can't even figure out how to draw a weapon, even when given 30 seconds to do so. Anyway, the movie is fast-paced, entertaining, and very very dumb.

Pretty funny action movie. I've enjoyed the dialogues & action scenes but the story doesn't have a solid ground or lack deepness. You can give it a try.
