Delivered with sloppy, gleeful confidence, the movie is smarter than most gross-out comedies but isn't afraid to inspire an "Ewww."

Overall, Chandrasekhar's first tentative venture towards something slightly more sincere is undermined by, quite frankly, his irresistible urge to take the piss out of every sequence that might have been played even remotely seriously.

Легендарный фильм с великолепными актерами, их игра завораживает и хочется смотреть снова.

Starts out as an agreeable, playfully off-color comedy of contemporary domestic manners and loses course to become a slack, tacky slapstick.

Yet another attempt to mix raunchy excess and romantic-comedy sweetness in an anything-goes raucous farce, The Babymakers offers a few big laughs between ho-hum stretches of frenetic vamping.

The squirminess stands out here because there's so little going on the rest of the time.

A safe, laugh-free exercise that gets to have its fun, such as it is, because it's all in the service of the most conservative notions of domestic normality.

In a culture where Anderson Cooper is out and gay-inclusive shows like "Modern Family" are wildly popular, a dud like Babymakers doesn't even find sticking power in its offensiveness. It just wipes off.

So yeah, The Babymakers pretty much ****. The plot had potential but was poorly executed, the acting was terrible, and the camerawork was crap. The only thing even remotely decent about this film is that Olivia Munn is in it and her insane levels of hotness don't make the movie worth watching. There are also a few funny parts scattered about but not enough to consistently deliver laughs.

Olivia Munn is the film's saving grace, but even she's not worth the viewing. From the Broken Lizard comedy troupe, this is a far cry from "Super Troopers" or even "Club Dredd" and closer to a paternal American Pie straight-to-video installment. "The Babymakers" is cliched at every turn and I guarantee you already know the ending and how they got there. If it's not midnight and you're paying, you shouldn't be watching this movie.

This movie was a real disappointment. It began with an interesting premise and was somewhat funny for the first 25 minutes, but it was mostly downhill after that. This film had two main problems. First, although a zany plot can sometimes work in a comedy, when it doesn't, it becomes annoying. That was the case here. The wanna-be plot twists weren't funny or interesting or in any way believable. There were some missed opportunities. Second, while comedies generally don't require Oscar-worthy performances, these actors, with few exceptions, seemed to completely mail it in. They probably knew the movie was going nowhere, but that doesn't excuse what comes across as a lack of effort in what they have been paid to do . Let me be a little more specific: there was no chemistry to be found in almost all the interactions between the film's characters. For instance, the lead husband and wife, supposedly married for three years, acted as if they were on their second or third date or worse, like distant cousins re-connecting after years apart. They never seemed like they would be married in real life. The buddies-hanging-out-at-a-bar seemed like they had nothing in common and would not hang out or trust one one another. The list goes on.

I vowed to never give a score of 0 on this site but....this movie made me break that. There are NO positives from this movie in my eyes. Everything is just outright terrible. Makes me remind of harem/ecchi genre (which is probably the bottom of the barrel of any show) from anime. This GARBAGE does not even deserve a 1.
