A surprisingly funny, female-driven romp — as long as you don't question too many plot particulars.

Frivolous but fun, somewhere between a comic "French Connection" and the craziest Nascar race you never saw.

I expected this to be much funnier: Latifah coasts on her charm and Fallon seems incapable of playing an actual character.

Goes nowhere fast.

Queen Latifah is a natural-born charmer, but there's only so much she can do when paired with a costar so irritating it's hard not to squirm when he's on the screen, which is most of the time.

In a film that is wall-to-wall idiocy, the most tiresome delusion is that car chases are funny.

Very nearly as entertaining as watching a potato bake.

Although the remake wasn't that good, but Taxi got some smooth laughs and very entertaining. Give props to both Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon. Sometimes the critics almost got it wrong, but I digress.

Тупая копирка с оригинала, вплоть до шуток и ситуаций. Но даже копируя, они не смогли добиться того, что было в оригинальном такси... заставить меня смеяться. Новые же шутки так же не смешные. Что мне нравилось в 1,2-ом такси, так это разнообразие ситуаций и погони. Погони были удивительно методичны. Они были тихие и одновременно громкие, именно это приходит мне на ум. Тут же скопированные ситуации выглядят неинтересно,а новые... ещё хуже. Итог: Смотрите 1-ю и 2-ю часть такси, они намного лучше этого недо-фильма.
