Love And Monsters is a blast, an unassuming, immensely winning monster movie filled with great lo-fi creatures and a likeable cast. As a template for making a leaner, less bloated summer movie, Hollywood could do a lot worse.

While it might be legally accurate to say that Love and Monsters isn’t based on pre-existing material, it couldn’t be more obvious that it was conceived by someone who saw “Zombieland” on TV one night and thought to themselves: “I could do it better. And with bugs.” Lucky for us, they were right — or at least right enough that it’s a blast to watch them try.

Before watching this I thought it was just gonna be a cringe fest, However, after watching it, it's the complete opposite tho made my sister even more afraid of insects

Ultimately, Love & Monsters is a film about picking yourself up, taking your destiny into your own hands, and not being afraid of living, even though you’re likely to make some mistakes along the way. And it’s a damn fun adventure to boot.

Love and Monsters lacks the self-seriousness of typical dystopian flicks but, despite its surprisingly perfunctory title and relatively thin plot, it doesn’t completely lack depth.

Love and Monsters may not be a wholly fresh concept, but a clever script and Dylan O'Brien's charm make for a super fun adventure comedy.

While it’s well-acted and slickly made, the movie’s derivative qualities — coupled with its inadvertent reminders of how crummy everything is outside our doors right now — make it less fun than intended. The light-hearted tone is often grating, working against the inherent drama of a world dominated by giant critters.

Give Love And Monsters credit: If nothing else, it does at least come up with a new (albeit ludicrous) twist on the killer-asteroid premise that once fueled two dumb disaster movies in the same year.

Wow this movie, I really love and enjoyed it! This is such a fun ride movie to watch on Netflix. It was really funny script and gross at some scenes of the monsters. Also, I laughed hard for some of the lines from the actors. I can say that I was mostly at the edge of my seat everytime there was the monster scene flashing on the screen. But really, I still have fun and will surely going to recommend for others to watch this film! I love how the actors managed to give really good acting from all the effects that the film has, it was so good in directing. A must-see fun film for everyone who love movies.

I am not sure why this movie scored so high on the tomato meter. It was okay, but I would not say it was exceptional. It's good for killing some time, but not as fun as the second Suicide Squad movie or TopGun: Maverick. Cheers.

If you just turn your brain off it's an ok watch...entertaining enough but not a film I'm going to remember tomorrow. Interesting premise but with poor story and uninteresting characters. Not to mention some questionable visual effects. Best part of the film hands down was the dog 'Boy'.

This should have been a lot better than it was. The cast does a decent job but the characters are so stereotypical and the movie was incredibly boring at times. It would have been better if it were 90 minutes rather than pushing the 2-hour mark because large chunks of the movie, especially in the second half, were incredibly uneventful and largely just the main character reflecting on things.

Super predictable, not a very compelling watch. Simple content. It isn’t an awful watch, the CGI is well done and the acting is passable, but the plot brings the entire production down.
