What's more genuinely wacky is what a kick the movie can sometimes be, completely in spite of its big, flat stunt.

The film is merely a series of random celebrity cameos and shameless product placements. (In one case, both-thank you, Jared from Subway!) But there are a few moments of inspired absurdity, mostly provided by a surprisingly energetic Al Pacino.

I started liking “Jack & Jill” a lot more when I got older than when I 1st saw it. 10 years later, I still love “Jack & Jill”. There’s really nothing awful about this movie like many people keep saying because Adam Sandler does an excellent job playing 2 characters at once. It’s a shame that “Jack & Jill” is still underrated after 10 years. At least this movie wouldn’t negatively portray autistic people the way “The Waterboy” did because Adam Sandler reportedly said he didn’t like “The Waterboy” for that reason. If there’s ever a decent sequel for “Jack & Jill”, I’m paying good money to watch it.

In the wake of "Bridesmaids," Sandler's lipsticked tomfoolery - and inability to share the screen with genuinely funny women - feels particularly regressive and stale. Both movies have diarrhea gags, but only one feels defined by such humor.

If the result is a movie that seems like a much slicker, more condensed, and speedier version of the Sandler comedies that have guaranteed his grandkids' retirement, count it as a blessing that it's over quickly. Not without pain, but quickly.

Weird to see Adam Sandler as a woman. I thought this would be more like a comedy role, but he was legitimately trying to play a serious role as a female. It was kind of disturbing then funny.

"Jack and Jill" isn't funny in the slightest, but it's not nearly as offensive as everyone makes it out to be. It's standard Sandler fare. This movie is pretty much the same as the rest of his movies: unfunny, annoying, and dull. I think this film is much more forgettable than outright atrocious.
