Nul de a à z, y a rien qui va dans le film. Rien de réaliste. Le pire méchant qui est incapable de faire quoi que ce soit. La fin est nulle. Aucune morale rien.

They have transformed a quite interesting plot beginning from a fascinating critique to the corruption of the American dream in a very weak script with a lot of triviality. Don’t wast your precious time watching this nonsense.

I did not like this movie. Its a very dark movie There is a mismatch in tone on what the movie depicts and what it wants to feel while watching it.

"I Care a Lot" (2020, soft R, 2 hrs, Netflix) soft R rating for lesbian intimacies and incessant vaping. This film shows how court-appointed guardianship can be abused when certain trustees go rogue for financial benefit. "Marla Grayson" (Rosamund Pike) stars as the sociopathic anti-protag who perpetuates a fraud on a nice old lady who happens to have connections to "people that care". "Roman Lunyov" (Peter Dinklage) is one of them but just when you think he's handled the Grayson problem you get the twist. So the final half hour is "who's going to prevail, Marla or Roman?" The answer to that, of course, is a serious spoiler, but it is an outcome that I did not guess because it's so rare of one. But you have to stay to the very end because even that twist gets another, more satisfying one - enjoy.

Rosamund Pike plays a scumbag character, and the film is basically about a criminal enterprise. Since the majority of characters are antagonists, it's a hard movie to watch, but overall it shows the evils of the medical & care industry and how people pray on the elderly. At least it comes with poetic justice. Corporatism/Neocapitalism is evil, and people will do everything in their power to destroy people to get ahead... so I get the moral of the story I suppose.

What a waste of time ! Full of plot hole. Multiple time, the protagonist is utilizing of deus ex machina to escape and decieve. The law is absolutely stupid, the bad guys are even more stupider. The only satisfaction in this movie is the end.

It is a bad movie, the gangsters are stupid, the women protagonists are all powerful, it is an exaggerated plot in the style of Netflix.

Another film glorifying sociopathy while pretending to blahblahblah. Shameless. Not in subject matter, but in treatment. A film with no redeemable characters--a fiction with only Iagos--is not only a dramatic failure, but in its sexy, rationalizing treatment, a moral failure. If your partner gave this a 10, consider reading The Sociopath Next Door.

Awful movie. Tries to endear itself with girl power, but even if you like that sort of thing, it's done in a completely unoriginal ND cringy way. Concept was OK. Plot and execution was clumsy and boring. Just awful.

Sad. A protagonist you can't like, a weak antagonist who can't do anything right, what a waste.

Film had a good start and I loved Peter Dinklage in it. The ending and many plot holes throughout it ultimately lead the movie to being cheesy and absurd through multiple moments. Example: All of a sudden the “boss **** protagonist becomes an Olympian swimmer or a hardened criminal with CIA special forces training whenever the plot decides it wants it to. A lot of the dialogue was straight up cringe and several plot points happen that are just never referenced again.

A work of art. Yeah there's going to be a lot of people infuriated with the "protagonist's" target, but what do you expect? A moral gangster and a regretful shark? No, this is gritty and dark and decent story-telling. Not too heavy, either.

It’s a “Please don’t ask any questions” movie As soon as you think about anything that happens, it becomes stupid and unreasonableness. The characters der like they are written by a ten year old and the ending is aggravating. Typical Mary Sue movie again

I actually felt bad after watching the movie. I had a distaste. I'm not sure what the moral is. I mean, was this film produced to "empower" women or what? Because I see no other point in the film. It had a good start, but I regret watching it. The ending was really cheap.

The movie ''I Care A Lot'' for those who read “comedy” in the movie description can be confusing. You will hardly let out any giggles during the projection. In fact, most of the time, the film causes much more disgust. Not exactly a comedy. However, the agile direction, the pop language and the cartoon characters are traits of comedy as a genre and, therefore, distance the film from the drama. However, the chases, tortures and action sequences suggest the thriller's place. But how can I say that this production is just a thriller, if there are so many comic and dramatic elements?

I liked the actors but I hated the storyline that revolves about exploiting seniors. I could not suspend believe for the entertainment value. I stuck with the movie to the end, hoping the heartless players would suffer in the end and some sort of balance would be restored. It was not worth the wait. Protect your soul and pass on this nightmare of a movie.

Worst movie i’ve ever seen don’t waste your time. They try to justify an awful character being an awful human-being by her being lesbian... I bet people sympathize with her somehow too. First time I rooted for the Russian mob to kill the main character. Terrible terrible movie

This movie is a praise of selfishness and greed at all costs. The script makes no sense and is very poorly executed. I feel like these days it's almost impossible to watch a movie without having to swallow a lot of woke **** The movie tries to make us accept its protagonist and it's actions simply because she is a lesbian. I don't think I'm the only one who thinks this way by reading the other users' comments. Don't rely on the criticism of journalists who don't seem to be objective at all and don't waste your time with this garbage.

Wow!! this is spooky! There are over 300 User Reviews for a movie that very few people know exist. Almost no movie gets that many User Reviews - especially one that almost nobody has heard of. I just read through the User Reviews for this movie. The guardianship industry has hopped on to Metacritic with an unbelievable number of "sock puppets" to downgrade this movie. It is very, very important that everyone understand that this movie has pulled the veil from a very, very corrupt guardianship industry. There are thousands of lawyers, judges, doctors, guardians, elder care professional, etc, etc that make billions and billions of dollars ripping off old people. ****************************************************************** Below is my original review before I realized that the corrupt guardianship industry has taken over the User Reviews for this movie. ****************************************************************** The guardianship industry has gotten completely out of control - so, a movie about it was inevitable. The plot is reasonably interesting. The acting is very good. If you are unfamiliar with guardianship, you absolutely should watch this movie. It is an entertaining way to prepare yourself for the possibility that you may find yourself entangled in a guardianship nightmare. Do not imagine it can't happen to you. By the way... apparently almost all of the people who wrote a User Review did not see the last 8 minutes of the movie - and, the last 8 minutes of the movie is important.

This film has no idea what it wants to be and sometimes that can work... This isn't one of those times. A scattered piecework of cynical characters coming together over a central plot or theme should usually amount to a decently told story. The Wolf of Wall Street did this nihilistic depiction of American capitalism much better. The most interesting thing about this film is just how it garnered so much buzz.

After seeing the wild variation in reviews here, I just had to add my two cents. Because these reviews are the reason why production companies are sometimes hesitant on taking risks on interesting ideas. Let me start by clarifying a couple of things: 1. Absolutely nobody that made this movie is trying to get you to root for the villainous main character just because she's a lesbian female. 2. Yes the characters are completely unlikeable - and that's entirely the point. This is essentially a revenge flick that views American capitalism for what it is - a playground in which most of the spoils go to those who are willing to trample on as many lives as possible to get to the top. I Care A Lot was fun to watch from start to finish - it's vicious, very well written, and campy enough that my eyes were glued to the screen the entire time despite the lack of any likeable characters. This movie works in spite of that because characters don't NEED to be likeable! They just need to be interesting. And this movie has interesting characters in spades. If there's anything I could fault here, it's that the movie gets a little... ehh... distracted around the middle? Without spoiling anything, there's a half hour chunk of the movie where it pivots from something sort of Kill Bill-ish to something sort of Tom and Jerry-ish. It's wild and entertaining - I certainly wasn't bored - but it doesn't really add much to the movie other than an extra required suspension of disbelief, which the movie was already a bit aggressive with at times. But overall - this is an entertaining, wild, mean, witty, and suspenseful, albeit somewhat unfocused, ride that I would recommend to anybody that prefers their movies a little less formulaic/predictable.

There is so much hate for this movie... I must just be that much of a masochist then for enjoying it. I really like Rosamund Pike so this rating is probably biased from the get-go. This movie is basically a game of cat and mouse which, in my opinion, eventually leads to a satisfying ending right as the credits appears. Cinematography is as decent as it can be I suppose. Yeah, this movie ain't for everybody, but... Yeah, it's not for everybody. Still doesn't stop me from enjoying it.

I seems that this movie was produce by the GOT team, so EXTREMELY bad! Rotten to his core, omg is so bad I really won’t spent time or too much words on this. A sadistic, egomaniac woman goes against the mob and win, over over and over, just so she can continue praying on old and defenseless people and becoming a successful billionaire on doing so. WTF? Really? All the disgusting humans in this movie are women and the ones trying to save their elderly relatives or making things right, showing signs or humanity are guys? What? It the whole Cersei ordeal again? Literally the worse waste of over an hour after the last episode of GOT. So in summary the worst movie ever!
