A gritty and realistic view of the life of a paramedic. It’s funny and heartbreaking at the same time. Rainn Wilson is great as well as the rest of the cast. I didn’t care much for the cutaways looking directly at the camera, a minor distraction to an otherwise fine movie.

This dramedy hits just above the average marker for me landing somewhere on a 6. Ultimately this ended up feeling like a couple 90's er episodes with various technobable moments to show the pros at work. I only wished they'd toned down some of the humour as when that juxtaposed with the dramatic scenesit sort of feels off.

Good, real life story with great actors and a bit of dark humor. Highly recommend. Keep in mind that it's no a comedy, it's a drama.

Don't miss this one. It was f'ing great! Th whole cast, the mix of comedy and drama, everything! I'm surprised it's not being talked about more.
