Despite its obvious flaws, Barb Wire does what it sets out to do and does it well.

David Hogan keeps the action moving and loaded with fights, gun battles and other action-trashy thrills. Lee is terrific.

This is how movies from comic book super heroes were made back in the 90's.
Cheap, simple, odd, without AAA cast and unrelated to the original material.
This one has a beautiful babe as a bonus though (But don't call her that).
Average and a little boring, you can skip it unless you have an 90's nostalgia or you're a fan of campy movie (but still is not one of the best).
Shampoo music video and song for this movie are really catchy "Don't Call Me Babe"

This rusted-future comic strip comes at you in shards -- exhaustingly derivative images of mayhem and titillation, with Lee, in her bad-girl bondage gear, as its blank vixen. If you didn't call her babe, she wouldn't exist.

Isn't much when it comes to either deliberate or inadvertent humor. But it does have a few amusing moments.

Compared to this brash, lunkheaded vehicle for "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson Lee, the Barb Wire graphic novels are masterpieces of subtlety and narrative restraint.

A convoluted mess, but there have been worse.

Numbingly violent action.

Mostly a cliché action movie with a 'kick-ass' sexy heroine. While it's not good, it's not unwatchable, and I found the time passed pretty quickly while I watched it, which is pretty much the best compliment I could give this movie.

Barb Wire is a 1995 mindless sci-fi action starring Pamela Anderson. The film opens with Pamela Anderson on stage in some club or something with music playing, soaking wet with water spraying around her and over her, wearing some outfit with her boobs poking out then an observer calls her "Babe" and she throws one of her heels at his head, killing him... The film has many action scenes and probably some fighting scenes and it's violent but the storyline makes no sense and the acting isn't great to be honest. There's some scene when some fat slob is introduced to us on the back of some vehicle and he's bloody huge in obesity size and is completely a ridiculously scene. We see scenes of Barb Wire (Pamela Anderson) showing the odd bit of flesh but this would of been better if she showed more of her body. Instead we saw hints of her body and her in some hot tub or something and that along with the action scenes didn't feel great if I'm honest. The action scenes could of been better and the overall film and some of the characters were laughable and silly, even the villains. This is probably one of the worst movies ever made and very stupid

A dreary and highly predictable action film that has a weak script, poor editing, and unenthusiastic performances from its cast, not to mention an unconvincing performance from the movies lead heroine.

Why did they set it in 2017? Anyway this is about as bad as a Hollywood movie can be. Barb has to be the most unlikeable and obnoxious character of all time and she’s the protagonist. Her name is Barb Wire, it’s possibly the stupidest name ever. Plus Pamela Anderson in army fatigues is the stupidest looking thing ever, it is not even remotely believable. The acting is atrocious and the writing is worse than amateur. It’s such a muddled story and even at 1.5 speed it’s boring. The flashes of white over the whole screen when they shoot the guns is so annoying. The only nice thing I have to say is that there are some really cool stunts in the finale but they are ruined with horribly overcut editing. And yes, I had taken it off 1.5 speed for the finale.

Horrible but nice eye candy i guess at the time. Weak everything and rather funny with Pam Andersen in a "tough" acting character - wrong lol! Very forgettable and wish I had that time back to have watched something else.
