I'm tired of Kevin Spacey a bit... every role seems to be done the same now. Ok story.. and it is nice to see a movie that might wake up a few people to how horrible government is. Things are not done for the **** corrupt and big business push "their" laws through.

Bravo performance by Crowe.. yet again. Nicely directed and interesting storyline. Much better than average movie and one you will watch again every so often on TV - true test **** movie imo lol.

Not a huge fan of all of Tarantino's films but this one is great. Great music.. great cast... great dialog!!!!!! Must see - *highlights* Samuel J, Travolta, Steve B... great performances

Gene Hackman as the dumpy tough cop.. superb!! Must see movie with a gritty feel you can almost imagine being there. So rare to find a Hollywood movie that is actually believable... this one is!!!!!!!

One of the greatest movies of all time.. a true epic! Rarely do you find such a beautifully done movie. *highlight for me* Anthony Q performance, Alex G, and Omar Sharif but many others as well ... almost too many to list... Must see movie!

A few things stopped this from a zero ... Anthony hopkins voice, special effects, and a few character actors. Colin Farrel is horrible, Angelina Jolie was horrible and miscast, and the directing/dialog was horrible One more saving grace... the budget was big enough to stop this from being worse.... watching that is but it might give Ishtar a run for most ridiculous $ spent for such a poor end product I want those hours back I wasted!!!!!!!!!

Great movie and lots of fun. Albert Brooks is hilarious as are the others. I have watched it many times unlike most movies I see.... says something to me right there.

Absolutely the best sub movie of all time.... I could actually imagine the smells and rotten food. Terrific performances... terrific everything!!!!!!! This is a must see or you have truly missed something great!

Almost a guaranteed hit story here to start with lol.... Guy goes out to remote bear infested place, stays there for months for 3yrs, gets 15mins of fame, then gets eaten by bear .... along with being slightly nuts and a borderline social outcast ?? Come on how can you lose. Well.... Herzog's commentary was hit and miss and some holes for sure but I was entertained solid 7 PS - background music was interesting also

close to an 8. I was surprised by this movie not expecting anything. Nicely done and it had my feelings for the persons doing the flip flop all the way through. I still want to know the "real" story but I don't feel cheated in any way. Must see movie.

Excellent film !!!!!!! Such an incredibly hard subject to begin to tackle in a film and do justice to. I think it's very close and done as well as anything we have seen yet. Kudos to all the actors and especially Ralph F.... awesome job.

Great performances.. great story.... great humor... great directing.... top 10 for me *high point* Sterling Haydens performance - he was so spot on and how he could deliver that ridiculous (in the best way) dialog that way was amazing

LOL funny movie. Very different at the time though and worth a watch. The music from Queen is spectacular lol I'm amazed they did the score for this... I want the back story on that. Watch it once for kicks.

Wahoo score! I liked this movie a lot even though not perfect. The flashback to Nam scenes were a little hard to believe even with the attempt to make RR look somewhat younger. Some dialogue was poor.. " Why do you think they keep dumping him" Great story idea though and loved the cat and mouse. RR is back in this one with a role i really liked and Brad P did a nice job. Duncan was cast well as well as the director of CIA. One weak link was the opponent to RR from CIA.. can't remember his name now lol.

Good movie! Good story line and gives you something to think about for sure. Greg K is great again but one surprising performance from none other than Bruce Willis. Here is a guy whom I typically dislike in movies giving a great performance as a sales account jerk. Totally worked for me and very believable.... perfect role for him. It's too bad he doesn't take these smaller type of roles more. Give up the main role action hero Bruce... it doesn't work for you anymore and has been pounded into the ground!!

The Hollywood milk it dry theme.... There has to be more creative scripts out there to throw money at. I guess the bond theory is in play tho. Average and I watched it. Good to have on when you are doing something else at the same time and want a distraction in the background.

Average at best and I hate Hollywood on remakes. I liked the original better with Ford even if it is a bit dated now. Nothing special here but worth a watch if bored.

Russel Crowe - love the character change yet again. I liked the acting by the Jordan head of Intelligence .. Pasha whatever his name was - sorry. Leo is so so for me in action hero type of role. Good sets and effects. Movie was good not great.

Been a while since I have seen this but I remember I liked it so much I want to watch it again now. I'm so glad they didn't feel like they had to have some flying karate master in here with a sword. Beautifully done and acted!

Good movie but flawed here and there. Matt Damon is solid but not top shelf here. John M lol ... terrible accent yet i still loved his performance. Edward N is so so. Best thing about this movie.... Nice to see a card movie again. Average score

Another tired Tom Cruise performance.. or maybe it was the box he was in atm. I guess he did it as well as anyone could for this typically Hollywood "big" picture. The other performances saved the movie... Japanese characters were great! Too bad Hollywood makes these unbelievable Superman stories.. instead of a toned down version that would be at least believable.

Different at the time.... rather funny and great anti war type of message to it. I saw it on cable first but I have to admit I've watched it a few times since through the years. Worth watching and there is definitely much worse ways to spend time.

Good movie. I like the way the camera work and/or directing was done.. flowing in the non-stop filming like that Orson Wells first breakthrough. I agree the first hour was much better and the ending got too much of the Hollywood treatment but I still liked it. Strong performance by NC saved it for me as well. Unique film at the time due to that never ending scene flow used. Sorry I don't know all the techincal lingo.. just an average fan here lol. Worth seeing!

So disappointing ... just when i thought Hollywood was going to continue to make great War flicks (which i love btw) this comes out. Not only did it get the sappy "Hollywood spin" but it dragged on and on and I was surprised I was so bored with it half way through. Truly I love War movies and they are my favorite genre but what a bore this was. Only the great special effects saved it from being a total Turkey and eking out a 4!

Hard to hate anything Vince Vaughn is in .. for me at least. Good humor there :) Jennifer Aniston is ok but barely. Great flick if you want some VV sarcasm and laughs!

Horrible but nice eye candy i guess at the time. Weak everything and rather funny with Pam Andersen in a "tough" acting character - wrong lol! Very forgettable and wish I had that time back to have watched something else.

average for me.... acting was sub par I thought compared to previous work the two major stars (Demi, RR) had done. Not a big Woody fan in anything lol Subject matter did hit a nerve though - "how would I feel?" worth watching but that's about it

10yrs old watching this in the movie theater.... nothing better. Just watched it again the other night and I still like it very much... still a 9 for me 30 some yrs later :)

Great movie... original feel to movie in general and for certain in DDL's performance. Loved it and refreshing compared to the majority of movies made these days. Best of all time... no ... but only 1-2 movies a year are made that are worth watching..... I'm so glad they are... I'm running out of old classics to watch lol.
