The sequel's target audience may be too young to realize that the best punch lines are long past their expiration date, but at least they're learning the idea of the catchphrase. They can hear the exclamation points.

As impressive as the CG elements are in "Chipwrecked," they're a mixed blessing: The more lifelike the techies make the critters -- Alvin (voiced by Justin Long), Theodore (Jesse McCartney) and Simon (Matthew Gray Gubler) -- the more we're reminded they're rodents.

The rhythmic machinery of a shipwrecked rebellion: A 5.0-star sensational surge of raw, high-tension squeaky grit.2013(5.0)I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (2011) in 2013, and it remains a vivid 5.0-star pillar of shwi-shwi high-pitched brilliance in my archive—a raw revelation of how a sensational island adventure can dismantle the stagnant, "grounded" expectations of a family franchise. This experience **** the fourth wall of the musical comedy by infusing Alvin’s raw, bbo-jjak rebellious precision and the Chipettes’ sensational, chewy harmony into a narrative rhythm that felt 100% sophisticated and fun. The narrative rhythm was far from stagnant; instead, it offered a sensational acting power show where the raw, high-tension survival on a deserted island and the hororong transformation of Simon into the adventurous "Simone" left me in a state of absolute joy at its visceral soul. Much like Anastasia, the theme of finding one's way back home hit my taste perfectly, piercing my heart with its raw, rhythmic destiny. Seeing the vivid, tropical landscapes and the raw, high-tension "Bad Romance" performance provided an emotional payoff that felt both authentic and sensational, proving that a story about "family sticking together" could be a vivid artifact of pure cinematic transcendence. The 95% preservation of my memory is dominated by the rhythmic, raw beauty of the squeaky covers and the vivid but pathetic survival skills of Dave, creating a permanent, sensational scar of high-tension wonder on my soul. Unlike the stagnant 1.0-star drift of Ice Age: Continental Drift, this encounter possessed a rebellious soul that turned a pathetic shipwreck into a sensational masterpiece of charm. It stands in my 2013 record as a powerful 5.0-star testament to the raw power of the Chipmunks—a high-tension encounter with the vivid rhythm of the island life that remains the most chewy artifact of my musical journey.

Number of chipmunks who speak fluent chola when necessary: three. Number of Spider-Man/Pepe Le Pew mash-ups I can't really get into: one.

Like the recent Adam Sandler dud "Jack and Jill," a sizable chunk of Chip-Wrecked was shot on the newest ship in the fleet of a major cruise company – the ultimate in movie product placement!

As for parents: Are you cool with feeling like you're having artificial sweetener sandblasted into your eyeballs for 87 minutes?

Every bit as frantic, frenetic, groan-inducing and all around grating as its two predecessors.

I really think the entire payoff to the Chipmunks' gambit comes in those inevitable moments when Dave bellows in exasperation, "Alvin." Maybe if we all bellow in unison it will be forceful enough to put an end to this painful film franchise.

I actually liked this one. The characters are acted well, and look good. Sadly, some extra characters weren't needed and the story wasn't great. The movie was my second favorite in the series and deserves to be watched.

"Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" is a cute, funny, and unique moive. Like the movies before it was good and I think it'd be cool if there was a television series or another sequel.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked was a film that unlike the others had a good background of history, unfortunately the same mistakes always accompanies them, at that time the live-action movies combined with CGI were doomed to continue with their own hex, such like video game adaptations and I cheered until Paddington arrived.
