This game came at my birth and it’s awesome for its time. with improved graphics the best looking PS2 game ever.

I like wrestling games and this one it's a wonderful game because of its gameplay. I really liked the season mode because it was different from the last games the wrestlers could move in realistic way, while the wrestler creator it was pretty enjoyable, it was the last time that the HCTP gameplay style was implemented in a wrestling game this game it's very good, the new installments in this game were the gm mode, and the championship match mode.

Official Playstation Magazine and Eurogamer reviewers are such jackasses for giving a PS2 version a 7 and a 6 out of 10 and give PSP an 8/10 and obviously don't know what they're talking about.

Great roster ! Great Soundtracks and game was soo much fun to play spend years playin it !! i got all the trophies ! And Gm mods oo how i miss this in WWE2k games :(

2005, one of the best years for wrestling fans. After Smackdown vs Raw came out in 2004, fans were so disappointed. When this game came out it was amazing and was much better than 2004. The graphics for the game are so realistic and the animations looked stunning. They still hold up well today. The roster is really good and the many unlockable legends gave the game a lot of replayability. It still was missing many other wrestlers though. The game gave us new matches such as Backstage/Bar Brawl, Lingerie Pillow Fight and the revamped Buried Alive match. The Ai is very good and balanced. The gameplay was brilliant. I loved the Season Mode. Some things I didn't like was the confusing GM mode, terrible soundtrack and annoying collision detection. It's still very fun to play. One of the greatest wrestling games of all time.

Pros: Cool roster, GM mode is pretty cool, fast gameplay and the graphics, music and intros were high quality for ps2 gen. Cons: The collision detection is awful, not have a difficulty curve and the combat system is a step back compared to older games.

This is so far the best WWE game I have ever played. The graphics were great, the controls were good, there are so many different kinds of matches and options and in this game if you are playing as a male super star you don't get f**king disqualified for hitting a diva during a match unlike some of the other WWE games these days (eg WWE 2010 and 2011) . This is the best WWE game to me so far because I haven't played WWE 2K14 yet.

This is the WWE game that finally fells like your actually playing a WWE game. The superstar roster seems to be very balanced, but I hate some of the ways you have to unlock superstar legends.

My first and probably the only one I really enjoyed so far, maybe the reason I didn't liked the (repetition, man how many are ) other WWe S vs R games was because it was the same and lack of new ideas. Sometimes good stuff don't last to much

Pros: Excellent graphics and controls; stellar single player and multi-player mode; variety of superstars and matches. Cons: Quirky online play with no voice chat; some of the matches are dull.
