Overall, WWE 2K19 is an evolutionary step forward for the series – but a big one. The return of the showcase mode offers up a lot to enjoy for fans of Daniel Bryan while the MyCareer mode brings things back that worked before – but tells a far better narrative than most. The debuting 2K Towers offer an ever-present challenge and are sure to make even seasoned players wince a time or two, and the revamped gameplay for things like striking and cage-related modes allows for more realistic matches than prior entries across the board.

WWE 2K19 is the best wrestling game in the series since it came to 2K Games. It's new story mode is very fun and 2K Showcase is back. At last, WWE 2K19 is the game that wrestling fans deserve.

WWE 2K19 proclaims itself as the best wrestling game until this day. My Career, Towers and the great return of Showcase are enough to keep any fan of the WWE fighting for hours. The dynamic and challenging combats will hook veteran and amateurs fighters alike. There is no doubt at all that 2K has given depth to his wrestling simulator and open a new and exciting path for the franchise.

Taking advantage of the great leap in quality with 2K18, WWE 2K19 presents the largest offering of game modes to have us stuck to the virtual ring another year.

WWE 2K19 it’s the best WWE game since 2K takes the franchise in 2013. Although need changes in the playability side, but it has a lots of content, game modes and the biggest constellation of WWE Superstars ever.

It is a massive improvement for the series, with plenty of great modes to choose from, along with so many great wrestlers past and present to wrestle with. It finally feels like things are looking up for WWE 2K.

WWE 2K19 is still rough around the edges and some game modes are still in desperate need of an update, but it's the best game from 2K yet and features a lot of upgrades and fun game modes to keep you playing all the way through until WWE 2K20.

WWE fans will find here the best wrestling game 2K has ever published, with a more polished gameplay and nice additions like the Showcase mode. However, it doesn’t seem to try and fix some of the series long-running issues that fans have been complaining about.

Overall, WWE 2K19 is a solid step up from last year’s title. It offers a bit more in terms of content, and a deeper MyPlayer mode. I still wish they would ease up on the control scheme complication a bit, maybe shifting back to an easier control scheme that focuses on fun, rather than trying to make the wrestling experience a challenge. Wrestling is a fun sport to watch, so controlling it should be equally as fun. Definitely a solid release overall, though, so you won’t be disappointed.

WWE 2K19 maxes out all of the incumbent concepts from recent games in the franchise, and this is a solid and more polished release than we've seen from some recent versions. You'll likely have fun with the game and all of its layers. However, there is potential for true greatness with this series, but the WWE and the development team have to be willing to take some chances.
