Vampire Survivors’s Ode to Castlevania DLC is an incredible labour of love for the very games that inspired it. It includes heaps of content, fan service, and just pure effort into such an amazing piece of extra content.

Vampire Survivors is such a great game. If you have the chance, don’t hesitate — you won’t be disappointed. I can mention many good points about this game. Firstly, and most importantly, the gameplay and the art are excellent, especially if you are a true “Castlevania” fan. I don’t want to give any spoilers — better check it out yourself. The second strong point is the music. Some tracks are catchy and very well composed. Finally, the missions and Easter eggs inside the game — there are a lot of them! It is probably one of the best games of the current generation. On the whole, Vampire Survivors is a fresh idea in “rogue-like” games. It’s really worth it.

Vampire Survivor’s loving tribute, Ode to Castlevania, has come around full circle (of the moon) for an incredible add on that increases the fun of the main game ten fold.

An absolutely worthwhile add-on for Vampire Survivors. Especially as someone who thoroughly enjoyed Symphony of the Night, the Sorrow duology and Circle of the Moon, I think this game's reverence for Castlevania is on full display in the best way. The Ode to Castlevania stage is great fun, but it really is the plethora of new weapons (and additional features for those already in the base game) that elevate the DLC to greater heights. While perhaps relatively pricey in comparison to how cheap the base game is (I believe it was set to at least 50% of the price of the base game when I last checked, if not more), I think Ode to Castlevania justifies its cost - however, it may not be as appealing to those with no appreciation for the series that inspired it.

This is a great addition to Vampire Survivors, basically every character in the Castlevania game universe is included in this DLC. Lots of easter eggs and great music. Only knock against it, maybe there are too many unlockables and you gotta be OCD to get them all.
