Tunnel Rats: 1968
Uwe Boll did it again, but now in videogame form. One of the worst games ever seen on PC, this FPS should have been canned before release: it lacks a story, its gameplay is horrible, and it has no real purpose. Its best feature: that it's a short game, so pain doesn't last long.

The action is predictable, the visuals are merely passable, and the main hero is such a jumble of hate and regret that it's impossible to ever really care if he makes it out of the jungle alive. Spare yourself instead and pass on this one.
Five buggy hours of tunnels, booby traps, and laughably bad dialogue.

Put your hands away. In this waiting for you tunnels maze, later quite annoying traps, bad voice acting, stupid enemies, bugs. This product is not even worth a lousy 1 euro. Oouuu... to hell!

Tunnel Rats: 1968 is not that bad ****, it was not bad but not fantastic. the game-play and graphics could use a little bit more work but other than that this game was not a bad buy.

Awful bits of data. The gameplay is boring, nothing special about this game, you don't feel the fear for yourself or the surrounding area, the main hero is full of stupid hateful speech, the graphics are horrible (just a bunch of poopy textures. I mean, they look all brownish and puke-ish), the AI **** and it's made by Uwe Boll. The only good (if you can call it) thing is that the game is quite short. It might look like eternity, though. Forget about this game, don't spend your time, your money and go play some more interesting game. Uwe Boll **** even if he's going to punch me to death for writing this review.

I loved the movie and those idiots that are bashing on the game for graphics and no story line and vulgar **** you were in Vietnam and stranded i think you would be cursing nonstop. Also no story line?Tell me the story line of **** has none because it is a game that tries to scare you kind of like what Boll did trying to scare people also i love the bad graphics cause he is trying to go back to an old school mode i mean people still buy doom 1 and enjoy it so i mean think of tunnel rats like a old school **** i give this thing a good rating. Also IGN's review is rubbish i mean really IGN never knew you guys were **** way you said "I don't care if the main character lives or dies." that is what hippies thought during 1968.

Still, it's better than any of Ugh Boll's films. [Sept 2009, p.72]

Tunnel Rats reeks of cruftsmanship and couldn’t-care-less attitude of its makers. Ugly, boring, and vulgar, this amateurish game is a true Uwe Boll product.

I am a huge fan of Vietnam war games and even Shellshock 2 which apparently was terrible I enjoyed but this...this is easily the worst game I have ever played, I couldnt even bring myself to complete the first level (The game has 8 levels). The graphics first of even on the highest settings are like a game from 2003. The voice acting is terrible. The game lags. I shot a man at point blank range with a full ak47 clip to the head and he didnt die. Then he stabbed, yes stabbed me to death... Hand to hand combat also is terrible and doesnt work. The traps are faulty. The grenades dont work. And its also highly priced and so not worth it... I mean £16.99 thats about $18 I think. My advice to you is leave this game, dont buy it and dont look back!
