Like the movie it’s based on, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen isn’t trying to radically change the genre or introduce innovative new features. It’s giving you great-looking robots that go off and fight other great-looking robots as you watch the resulting explosions.

It may not revolutionize video games in any way, and will come and go with little fuss, but that doesn’t mean that you should let this little gem pass you by.

This is a rinse and repeat game, but I gotta say one that I really enjoyed. This is a vast improvement over the first in gameplay and look. It's not going to take you long to finish but playing thru unlocking the bonus features like the classic cartoons from the 80's and picture stills etc make it worth while. If you find this game on the cheap, snap it up.

If you do not own this **** it! I have seen it at Games Stop for $17! The transforming is top notch and very loyal to the cartoons and movies! Nice gameplay and great controls...

This is a great game for the target audience, young teens, but will leave older fans of the Transformers disappointed.

A mediocre action game that should have had more time to get polished. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen feels unfinished, with the same repetitive missions and missing cutscenes.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen revealed to be as the average low-budget movie tie-in. Hardcore gamers will hardly find a reason to buy it, so it's a viable buy only for Transformers' uber-fans, thanks to the many unlockable extras too.

Revenge of the Fallen is exactly what we were expecting. No more, no less.

How ironic that Revenge Of The Fallen should be weighed down with options to keep you coming back, yet offer pitifully few reasons to play it in the first place. [Sept 2009, p.120]

Best out of the 3 in the movie game franchise,
Great Combat
Great Movement
2 Playable Factions Worth Playing In my opinion!

The same as his predecessor, the game that comes from the sequel film, and again you can play with both sides such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream or Megatron for example.

I have been a transformers fan for a while but didn't expect much from the game, but once I started playing it I found it a great experience, game play was fun but nothing too new but overall enjoyable and as a nice little reward activision gave us a few G1 episodes as unlocks which I thought was a pleasant supprise, for once a good movie title! i have to admit I own 3 transformers games and I have enjoyed all 3 of them(Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and war for cybertron)

It's not a bad game, but it is still not perfect either. The story is just playing missions that get really repetitive. The gameplay is actually decent. The multiplayer is the best thing about this game, but now in 2016 you might not find anyone though.

when getting this game i didn't expect much but nothing prepared me for this. it is as repetitive and boring as the thor game, i may go as far to say worse. although the combat works well it is very basic and well that is a problem yes its fine but it could have been so much more with a potential combo system that was never implemented properly. its sad being a fan of the original tv series and seeing this haha well such as life i guess but on line is OK. not worth the money i paid and regret is sitting right beside me avoid unless you really can justify it,
