Total War: Pharaoh Dynasties is a solid game with extremely well-thought-out combat mechanics. I could play this game for hours and only spend my time battling. The dynasty system is a lot of fun. Overall, this game is solid.

While some of its changes are more impactful than others, most of what is on offer in the Dynasties update for Total War: Pharaoh are net positives. The additions and tweaks bring some much needed depth to the game’s campaigns and help keep things fresh on subsequent playthroughs. However, it does not address some of the core issues that longtime fans have voiced and will likely not be enough to bring them back to the Bronze Age despite it being free.

В целом игра удалась и это большая работа над ошибками после не самого удачного Фараона. Карта огромная, фракций очень много как и различных активностей. Также хочется отметить очень удачную меахнику регионов и провинций. На мой взгляд игра немного перегружена некоторыми механиками (религия, двор, борьба за власть), но в целом играется очень даже неплохо. Бронзовый век не самый любимый мой период, все таки скучно без конницы и осадных машин, но тем не менее игра очень вариативна.

This is the part where I tell old Total War fans that now is a great entry for dipping back into the franchise. The size, scale and themes feel much more like Total War than anything with muskets or wyverns. But this isn’t a backwards looking nostalgia project. Pharaoh: Total War Dynasties incorporates good ideas from nearly every entry in the series. I am more excited by the future of the Total War series than I have been for a while.
