Definitely one of the best point-and-click games in gaming history. Pros: The game's comic book style keeps the graphics looking fresh. The game has one of the best storylines I've ever seen. Interesting characters. Nice art style. Cons: I have nothing to say.

This is one of the greatest story games I have ever played. A great experience for fans of the comic, fans of the show and generally anyone that likes a good story with heart.

REPLAYED in 2026 If i have to think to a rappresentative of the modern era of point and click adventure, The Telltale Series of Walking dead comes first in mind (just followed by LiS). The narrative, dialogues, characters and choices just are art at it's finest. You can go and put Lee, Kenny and Clementine on the same level of recognization **** Stobbart, Max Caufield or Guybrush Threepwood in their highly recognized franchises. The Walking Dead surely got boosted by the successful TV series, but walks totally on it's legs as one milestone of gaming and narrative focused gameplay. Vote: 10!

Excellent games, superb characters, and story. Season 1 is wonderful, season 2 is very nice, season 3 is medium, and season 4 is genius. The comics are not canon.

The Walking Dead (Telltale Games) — 10/10 A masterclass in storytelling that redefined narrative-driven games. This emotional journey follows Lee and Clementine through a brutal world, focusing on choices that truly matter. The writing is powerful, the characters feel real, and every decision carries weight. While the gameplay is simple, the impact of the story is unforgettable. It’s a heartbreaking, gripping experience that stays with you long after it ends.

One of the best choices games ever released. It puts you through the depressing reality of post apocalyptic world. You do not know who's gonna die next or what's going to happen next, and this is the cherry on top.

Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season I takes the developers tried and true “point-and-click” formula and elevates it with excellent character writing, relationships, and drama. While the game wants you to believe that choices matter more than they do, it’s execution and presentation is what sells what could easily have been a fumbled gimmick. Lee is a well written character in his own right - a former history teacher with a sarcastic edge and a violent streak - but it’s his relationship with found-daughter-figure, Clementine, that solidifies his place as a top tier protagonist. After finding her in the first days of the pandemic, Clementine quickly becomes both a sense of purpose and moral compass for Lee and by extension, the player. There are very few times where I have personally become so invested in a characters safety than how Lee is with Clementine. Telltale knows exactly how to take advantage of such investment and tugs on the heartstrings until they nearly snap. An ever rotating cast of characters surround the duo with most offering a mix of personalities and qualities that help them feel complex - even if they lack dimensionality. Kenny for instance is more affable than the more hard-assed de facto leader Lily, but is every bit as much a screw-up as Ben who he offers little to no leeway. Telltale executes a well balanced see-saw never letting you get too comfortable with a characters predictability, without falling off the edge into absurdity. While the gameplay is little more than fetch-quest puzzles and quick time events, in comparison to my thoughts on AER, Telltale’s TWD ensures these events are surrounded by drama, incident, and consequence to justify their existence. That being said, there are a couple longer puzzles that can feel a drag, stretching their objectives out between long, backtracking walks between interactables. I did experience some minor jank throughout the game, with the worst appearing in the first episode. Occasionally a character’s model would glitch during an animation, or disappear entirely. Frequently, sound mixing would be off, with one voice line being extremely loud and the next being so soft you could barely make it out over the ambience. I’m not sure how common this issue is so you’re experience may vary. TWD Season I’s OST is not the most diverse batch of songs but is a well crafted grouping. Clementine’s Suite could easily be seen as the game’s thematic center and earns its role in quality as well as its association to the central character herself. While not without flaws, and not high art, Telltale achieved something unique here. There are very few examples of character relationships that I would hold as strong as that between Lee and Clem, and fewer still that climax as strongly as Season I does. Depending on who you ask, this is the strongest of Telltale’s offerings, but I gotta play the rest to know for sure. Even if they end up half as good as TWD Season I, I think it will be worth the time investment. An infectious 8 out of 10

just wished a telltale game where choices actually mattered. played half of them, none of the choices mattered in any game. but if you're looking for more like an "movie" interactive experience, it's great. great story and charismatics characters.

The Walking Dead – a flawless 10/10 The Walking Dead isn’t just a game series. It’s an emotional experience, a punch to the gut, and a brutal reminder of how much the people we protect truly mean to us. Telltale created something here that very few games ever achieve: it makes you a more empathetic human being. The story is the exact kind of narrative journey that breaks you apart and puts you back together — but never in the same shape. Lee and Clementine are one of the strongest duos in gaming history, not just in their genre but across the entire industry. Their bond grows so naturally that you forget you’re playing a game. You feel like you’re protecting a real child, going through the worst moments together. Every choice hurts. Every consequence sticks with you. And that’s exactly what makes the series brilliant: there’s no “good” or “bad” — just survival and sacrifice. Telltale holds a mirror up to you and quietly asks: “How far are you willing to go to save someone?” The atmosphere is perfect — tense, melancholic, painfully human. The characters are exceptionally written, each with their own past, fears, and hopes. And Clementine… she’s one of the best-crafted characters of the last two decades. You literally watch her grow, change, and transform into the pure symbol of resilience in a world that has nothing left to give. This series makes you cry, smile, rage, and question your own decisions. And when a game can pull that kind of emotion from you… that’s art. For its powerful story, unforgettable characters, and the way it hits you straight in the soul without hesitation, The Walking Dead – Telltale Series deserves a pure, unapologetic 10/10. A game? No. A life lesson.

This game plays more like the comics than the movie, which is a good thing in this case. It's dark, it's gritty, and you definitely see the outcomes of your choices stretch out to the other episodes. It's not just a game for those who really like the series or zombie-style games; it can also be loved by those who like to take a more personal command of the game. A must have for sure!

Beautiful story, well-written characters, great music. Even though with The Walking Dead being a zombie game, it doesn't try to be scary and focuses on its great story. I also think the comic art style fits the game perfectly.

Review: The Walking Dead: Season 1 (Telltale Games)Genre: Narrative graphic adventurePlatforms: PC, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, AndroidRelease: 2012A story that stays with youTelltale Games revolutionized the narrative genre with The Walking Dead: Season 1. Instead of focusing on traditional zombie action, it opted for the human side: decisions, moral dilemmas, and the bonds between characters. The player controls Lee Everett, a convict who, in the midst of the apocalypse, finds purpose in protecting young **** relationship between the two is the heart of the game, and over the course of five episodes one of the most emotional connections ever seen in video games is built. Every decision—although sometimes deceptively limited—feels important and carries real emotional weight.Gameplay and mechanicsTimed decision-making: Conversations don’t wait, and choosing what to say (or staying silent) defines your relationship with the group.Quick Time Events (QTEs): Simple, more of a narrative complement than a real challenge.Exploration and light puzzles: Nothing too complex, but they help give rhythm to the **** gameplay may feel limited to those looking for action, but if what you want is to live through an interactive drama, it delivers in spades. Your 202 hours were probably spent replaying routes, exploring alternate dialogues, and seeing how the group’s reactions change: that’s where the true richness of the game lies.Visuals and soundThe comic-style art, inspired by the original panels, gives it a unique personality and ages better than **** music, though understated, is powerful in key moments, and the voice acting is outstanding, especially Lee (Dave Fennoy) and Clementine (Melissa **** bestOne of the best stories in a video game.Clementine: an unforgettable character.Decisions that generate genuine tension and emotion.Excellent voice acting and narrative **** worstLittle real replay value: although you explore different routes, the final outcome is largely fixed.QTEs can feel superficial.Technically, it suffers from bugs and clunky animations.ConclusionAfter so many hours, it’s clear that The Walking Dead: Season 1 is not just a game but a narrative experience that leaves a mark. The gameplay may be limited, but the story, character building, and emotional bond make it a masterpiece of the genre. It’s one of those titles that stays with you long after you’ve finished it. Personal rating: 9.5 / 10

Cons: - A lot of decisions feel too forced, coming out of nowhere and not making much sense, taking away the immersion every once in a while - Unnecessary extra gore in some scenes involving repeated user input - After looking online, it turns out all decisions have no impact on the story, just in the character interactions Pros: - Cool visual style, aging well - Interesting characters Mostly positive, but Life is strange 1 for example did a better job in this genre of game

This game is insanely insane for changing my perspective on life, this game completely changed my life, having only insane highs and peaks, with no lows, but "ah season 3 is bad" **** you, season 3 even though it's the worst, I still consider it an 8.5, so I, a mere commoner of our society, it was as if I had played this game and from commoner, I went to nobility, even to the pharaoh, so if you want a change in your life from bad to better, play this deity in game and enjoy every moment and see this masterpiece in front of you, even if you don't like it, there's probably something strange in your head, but if BY CHANCE you have this little problem keep playing, because it must be something temporary in your head and you will want to play again mainly for Lee's redemption and the cuteness of Clementine, who incredibly is a character in a zombie game that is cute, so watch the story of Lee surviving with an 8 year old child years. If you want a top 6 of the games and their ratings for me, these are: 6- 400 days (7.5) 5-Michonne (didn't play )4- Season 3 (8.5) 3- Season 2 (9.8) 2- Season 4 (11) 1- Season 1 (1000000000000000000000000000.1) So if you agree with this analysis, tell someone else about it

The game has a compelling story and a great soundtrack that immerses you in this brutal world. The narrative is very compelling, delivering an immersive experience where your choices and actions genuinely shape the world around you—sort of. Visually, the game is serviceable but not spectacular. The graphics don’t push any boundaries and might feel dated compared to modern heavyweights, The story, however, is the best part, it's engaging, well-written, and keeps you invested. The world responds to your choices seamlessly with the narrative. FULL REVIEW: ****/post/the-walking-dead-s-brutal-story-will-hook-you-hard-but-is-it-worth-your-time

A true masterpiece ****. The raw emotion of the game and how it makes you care so much about these characters. The relationship between Lee and Clementine is the best I have seen in any video game, movie, or show. The symbolism of how Lee's new life is beginning while everyone else's life is falling apart is truly remarkable with the best and most heart wrenching ending in gaming.

An incredible masterpiece! The first season of The Walking Dead by Telltale is one of the best entries in a gaming franchise. With great storytelling, brilliant characters, a fantastic soundtrack, and an awesome art direction, nothing can go wrong, can it? Season 1 = 10/10

This game is simply too good for me personally. I really love the characters Lee Everett, Clem, Kenny, Omid, ... Although the game developer said: "This game series adapts to the choices you make. The story is tailored by how you play." that is a lie when the character's fate still dies no matter what choice you make. But it's okay, I still love this game!!!
