My friend Pedro brings to you in a very addictive and fun gameplay based on slow motion firing guns on a lateral sidescrolling game in levels. All the extra items, ambient action and level design will keep you tight to the game for one ore two session till the end. Highly recommended for an indie action packed game really really fun. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier8
May 20, 2026
Ok let's do it. Season 3 of The Walking Dead from Telltale is a bad sequel **** saga, but an appreciable stand alone story. The twist in the game is a radical swift of the story from the mainline plot to an newer one with new protagonists, new stories and new situation in a more advanced world of TWD. Returning characters are bland, sidelined to hurtfulness and you keep asking what happens to them while being stuck on another book. Said that, the new stories isn't at levels of the original game, but defends itself pretty well and narration is really pleasurable. I wont say is a skippable chapter in the saga because it doesn't deserves it, so i suggest to play it anyways and get ready for the splendid season finale that you absolutely must play after this! The Walking Dead: Season Two - A Telltale Games Series9
May 20, 2026
The Walking Dead a Telltale game Season Two, is an appreciable take on an already perfect game. Very few mistakens were made, and the one i most criticize is the lack of characterization of some very important figures in the story. But overall the narration and the already knew characters keeps steady the great work from season 1. Some plot twist are hardly spottable, and the decision system of Telltale makes you feel the power of your choices in this journey for the first time in the shoes of Clementine. Vote 9!

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series10
May 16, 2026
REPLAYED in 2026 If i have to think to a rappresentative of the modern era of point and click adventure, The Telltale Series of Walking dead comes first in mind (just followed by LiS). The narrative, dialogues, characters and choices just are art at it's finest. You can go and put Lee, Kenny and Clementine on the same level of recognization **** Stobbart, Max Caufield or Guybrush Threepwood in their highly recognized franchises. The Walking Dead surely got boosted by the successful TV series, but walks totally on it's legs as one milestone of gaming and narrative focused gameplay. Vote: 10!

Mixtape7
May 16, 2026
Mixtape is a game that i liked but came out a bit too close to Lost Records Bloom & Rage. The Story is basically the same, without the deep of the themes touched in LR:B&R, compacted in 2-3 hours and when you finish it you'll totally forgot about all of the characters. Minigames goes from a fun pebble trow to a basic fantavision while listening to music. The whole title thou works fine as a streamable content, giving opportunity to the player to interact with their chat on jokes, unexpected activities for the whole lenght of the game. I do have faith that the team might bring something innovative to the table on next projects, hopefully with focus on minigames and maybe a coop identity like "it takes two". Vote: 7!

Super Mario Odyssey4
Apr 26, 2026
Totally forgettable Mario game. Gameplay wise the title adds the hat feature that practically makes you an overpolished Kirby, taking advantage of enemies and ambiental feats, but in a unecessary way, like using cap on a flying chamilion to glide? Just why when you have at least 2 historical recognized ways to make your italian plumber falling with style. World are a more of the same, the platforming falls short into ideas already done in Mario 3D World, and some are just terrible to port from classic to 3D like the tangled liana toward the sky, yeah that level. Ton of everything makes it the definitive collectatron of the saga, makes you collect dozen of stars around the levels by just doing 14 (the worlds are 14) the same f**king race with koopa and catch a bunny, slot machine, over and over and over... By the end a mario game. Vote: 4!

Beyond: Two Souls8
Mar 21, 2026
Second run after 12 years from the first one at the release and Beyond Two Souls still remains a solid narrative game, with some imperfections and some nice twists.
Let's start with the basics, characters are rock solid in their portrait. Highly recognizable, easy to remember and some pretty much unpredictable. (yeah Heavy Rain did a better job, but it was another story to be told). Jodie is a fantastic character and a totally unusual journey that not so many videogames protagonist can boast, full of adventure, action, love, introspective and a lot of walking. The downsides are some generic situation that sound a bit like a clichè, but we do have to recognize that Quantic Dreams games were a bit of a pioneer of the genre, so we may say that today certain themes are a bit abused in the industry, but they did it in 2013, so you might have played a child of this branch that started with the Nomad Soul.
One odd downside i must put on notice is the open finale, a bit dystopical and uncalled for. So in the end, a truly intense and worty story to add to your collection. Second best "Set the table simulator" (the best still remains Heavy Rain) Vote: 8!

Rocket Knight is a short platforming game, with a really appreciable aestetics, a good level of difficulty with some bosses enough hard to take a few tries similar to Mega man.
Overall it sent back to the old school platforming action with some peculiar levels with side rocket jumping that throws back at Aero the Acrobat classic. Very Fun, highly suggested! vote 8!

Dec 31, 2025
Lost Records Bloom and Rage share a very deep story between some random girls on a summer vacation. Famous for it's nostalgia Drama like LiS, Don't Nod sent out another adventure based on the feelings and human connections. I don't have much to criticize, since i was expecting and looking for this type of game from this team, and they delivered neatly. I might only punctuate on the fact that all the choices and relatively outcomes are pretty much hard, so when you think you might have done the best choices to BFF one character, instead by the end of the chapter, you'll have been merely a neutral friend to her. Must give another shot to test this choice-effect, but for now vote: 8! Comfort Play

Dec 13, 2025
First play in 2025 and holy God of War what i've missed back in the day. I haven't been a fan of Kratos and hack & slash games in general, exept for Prince of Persia which was my reference in 2000's. This game has it all, a direct but engaging story, beautiful levels and splendid camera angles and direction, the combat is fun, the enemies are balanced, the difficulty is perfect (exept for the last boss but is forgivable, with also the possibility to down-level afer few deaths) the lower point is the balance-walk on ledges, and climbing those ade's towers full of blades, but is practically a technical gap that all games had in that period, Prince of Persia too. For the rest, a splendid game, and a saga-starter that will keep you engaged for all the playtrough. Vote: 10

The best Yakuza game released. The story is top notch (exept for some ridicolous reiterated bossfight) and finally the side activites are very fun to play, to achieve and master with some minimal low, yeah i'm looking at you 5 milion points Out Run... Fighting is fun, styles are good, the cash system very balanced, and overall it's not so back and forth from the same two spots like some other chapters in the series. My score suffers only for those classic un-platinum achievements, and the ethically wrong position of SEGA about re-releasing it with extra content, italian translation and remove from digital stores of the original game. vote: 8

Beat-em'up impossible to beat. Areas are all a more of the same, characters have zero balance between 'em, and second charater is basically a support that takes twice the damage as your main, so it's useless. You'll came across some bosses that i've been able to beat only because the game itself bugs and freeze in a grapple from your support while you button smash him to death. But hey one of them is immune to grapple and he will demolish you and your support in few minutes (with maxed levelled characters). So, the game is impossible to beat, is bugged, and not so appealing. Avoid it. Vote: 2

In 2025 i finished for the first time MediEvil after only memories and a PS1 demo consumed from re-playing.
This remastered sent Sir Daniel Fortesque in the modern era, fantastically in every aspect. Graphic, gameplay, music, sound (yeah the italian dub is still the original orrid trasposition but is still ok) the game offered a fantastic run, that could have been ended in a single sit, but still the ideas from the achievements makes you stay and explore deeply the whole graveyard and replay it a lot till platinum. Flashback: 25th Anniversary2
Nov 14, 2025
What a terrible remastered, for a really tedious game. I'll start by saying that the original SNES game, was a title i kept avoid and install in the good will to finish it once in my lifetime. The graphics, music, all captivating premiese for a great adventure. Till i finally played it. Flashback put you in a series of task (actually easy to resolve) in a journey into the most boring location in the whole universe. Enemies that will put you into the most desperate fights, that will turn savestates (or wathever that rewind post-mortem is in the remastered) not useful, but necessary. Don't drop any item in the wrong place, it will probably stuck your run, and don't save it, it might cost you the whole play. And at last, the Italian traduction is pure google translate, without any sense.I waited years to play this game only to hope to forget it forever. Vote: 2!

*Based on the Playthrough of GTA III only*
The game remains a cult classic with all the pro and con, and this remastered doesn't add much to the momentum of the roaming game. No particular feature out of a replay mission quite useful with some tedious missions like "Turismo", makes the gameplay easier or else, it's an old game, with old structure, hard missions and frustating IA, but it's all you want from it. Enough to revive some old times. Vote 9!

*Based only on AC2 Playtrough* The game itself it's a perfect port of the Ubisoft classic Assassin's Creed 2, with all it's past problems.
Storywise this chapter open the lore of the Saga to new heights, so is a pleasure to follow it. Gameplay is well calibrate between stealth, rumble, and collectatron. IA of enemies is right for the most of the time, good for fights, terrible for achievements, and that capture the flag mission during Venice Carnival, just horrendus. The same achievements problems not popping up has been ported, like the good Ubisoft tradition, prepare to play it twice and pray Gods for your 1000/Platinum. 7/10

Halo 38
Jun 22, 2025
Not the greatest, not the most memorable storywise. Altought i do remember being a milestone in multiplayer gaming in mid 2000, and the Forge was THE tool back in the days to give full creativity to the console players. This review is based on a 2025 run, only story mode, and since the variety of Halo 2 that still holds the test of time, Halo 3 fades a bit in the level design and enemy composition (exeption made for the scarab battles), with biggest battlefields that requires to clear before moving on, and atrocius cave levels filled with floods that you will repeat over and over and over... The cinematic cut given is apprecciable, the real plus in the series. A couple of more weapons, and veicles that you'll use one before forget it totally in the campaign. Vote 8!

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle10
Jun 22, 2025
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a masterpiece of action-adventure of modern era of videogames. Perfectly coherent to the cinematic saga, this game performs storywise like a good movie, with very few low moments, and mostly a continuity that keeps you tight to the screen. Puzzles cames in a range of variety, from logic, memory, count, trial and error, and perfectly placed among the adventure. By the end of the game, you would probably aim for an easy and not too tedious collectatron run to 100% it, and hope for a new release from Machine Games. Bravo! 10/10

Jun 1, 2025
"Ore! Tomba!" with this title Whoopee Camp developped one of the funniest and unusual platformer in the whole game history. It takes something like8 hours to complete with a nearly completionist run, which is what you're probably aiming after a couple of first quest. The game isn't bug-free and has a lot of side-quest that will require you a guide or some really, really lateral thinking. The biggest downside remains the characterization, a big pot with humans, mices, gnomes, fairies, pirates, that no one will ever remember even after a dozen of runs. Tomba! Stay on top thanks to it's peculiar gameplay and puzzles, strange quests and a lot of backtracking!

The true 10/10 of the Saga, replayed in 2025.
From game mechanics to story, music and, thanks God, level design done perfectly since the first entry "combat evolved" this Halo rappresent a total step forward in the fun and experimentation in an FPS. Remains some issues with the italian traslation of "Masterchief" that turns your comrades into indians street sellers calling you names, and a few section where your best option is just move along fast across enemy lines, making your status of legendary demon a bit unworthy, but hey, it's part of the plan! I choose to give a 10 for what this game rappresents and has rappresented in 2001, the major step forward in the FPS genre since DOOM. Now i will focus on this second run that i lived really badly since the game has some flaws that aged very poorly like the lazy backtracking and some level design made only to prolong the game, in a unamusing way. Halo still is a great shooter but i would't replay it anytime soon. 7

This Disney Collection is the way remastered games should work. Different platforms with also achievements tied to different version, great control features like rewind and savestates, and extra like booklets and artworks. The original games are infamous for the difficulty but in this version is totally doable reaching the end and beat the game. Apr 24, 2025
The game is top notch in Music and Audio compartment, beautiful art direction for characters costumes, monsters looks and ambientations.
The downside for me are the story and narration, it's really difficoult to emphatize with characters. You have a lot of moments of remembering, introspection of you and your family that leads to barely anything in the whole narration. Also being on the verge of a disastrous flood and neither the main or all the people you encounter gives two cents about it, so why would you player being catch by the situation? Combat is basic but is a good point to me, simplier fights, with the right amount of skills, in arenas between the platforming action. bosses are well directed and fun to play. Puzzles are ok, especially at the end. The collectables are fun to look for, but barely useful, if you lose the health improve fragments you simply have lost'em, you don't come back looking for it, you go to the end with your basic lifebar (which is enough luckily). Last thing, subtitetles are tedious to read, simply because there's no option to turn off ambient/emphatization description and each line has the name of the speaker in the front so you'll read: "Cat Fish: [inhales] it's been a year since Cat Fish: the flood have brought Cat Fish: a new fauna...".

Turok Remastered8
Apr 23, 2025
Ok Turok, a 3D First Person Platformer cloaked in a FPS Game. The Level Design (exept for the last level but i will come back later on that), Enemy Design and Weapons is excellent. Story is non existent but since it was based on the comic book series i wasn't expecting nothing, you jump in, kill dinosaurs and local goons, a mad scientist and a T-Rex, so basically it's Cadillac & Dinosaurs. It's fun? yeah that's it. Now the downsides, expect platforming, like a lot of platforming, like even Mega Man hasn't jumped so much in his whole series. Be aware of that, if you're looking for a doom experience and the discovery selection suggest you this game, well i got bad news for you. Second downside: the last level is too long... like half the game long, im not joking. You have 8 levels and the final one will took you the same time you've put to beat the previous 7 one in a whole run. Why? dunno, but plan further befor jumping in it. Bosses are nice, no brain, shoot everything you got while running circles, my favorite kind.
A few issues with the remastered nature of the game: 1) i had some problems with savefiles, but not big issues since the game is beatable in one session. 2) achievements are tough, like speedrun tough, not my cup of tea. In the end a good game and a good remastered.

Shadow Man: Remastered8
Apr 21, 2025
Shadow Man is an enjoyable 3D action adventure, when you gets at the end of it... All the first part of the game is a continous search for a pathway that leads to a useful item, or a useful weapon to advance in the game, that not always cames at the right time. I know that the game stoods up on a comic/graphic novel series that i did not have read, but all the 4 characters in the game deserved a little bit of a better backstory and presentation, instead of random dialogues where we get constantly reminded that you're the lord of the living dead. But if you get your way around multiple tunnels, hidden MAIN passageways that required me to look after some walktrough too many times, and collecting rubbish items untill you find the one that truly help you get past some levels, the games finally opens in a truly beautiful experience, with a nice combat system, a top level design and art direction for asylum, underworld, nightmare trends. Bosses are a wonderful 90's experience where you jump in with 10 weapons, runs in circles and empty all the ammunitions on the unfortunate guy, kudos to that. Shadow Man is a good game, but getting into it could have been easier.

Secret Files 35
Apr 21, 2025
Definetly the weakest of the Secret Files saga, the third chapter is a big mix of out of ordinary gameplay and exagerated ideas for it's Story. You jump from a stealth sidequest in ancient egypt, to dream worlds where to swing out of burning churches, to futuristic labs preventing a mad scientist from conquering the world. I would have loved a more feet to the ground Secret Files storywise and gameplay wise. I would save the CGI parts and world build, and definetly trash that ancient egypt dream part with salts and backtracking.

Secret Files 2 definetly does add up to the Secret Files series in a good way. The formula is kept tight to the puzzle solving and classical seek for items and combining, sometimes they are a little too blend to the background. The Story is well narrated but main characters does a little to grow up, and new one are not so impressive to stand out from their side role. Music, sound, voices and traduction are fine.

Secret Files: Tunguska7
Jan 2, 2025
Secret Files: Tunguska place itself between a LucasArts/Revolution Graphic Quality and Design and a Microids Classics narrative. You can expect a solid gameplay, with a good amount of close up, puzzles and interactions. However the gameplay take some leaps in the final chapters asking for some necessary interaction with journal that might stop your run for ages whitout a hint, a la MGS 140.15. Narratively this first chapter of the saga feels a bit rushed, but still proves it's ground for future entries, giving a vibe of the first Discworld or Broken Sword. Both the protagonist are classical investigators, more mature and sexist than a George and Nico, or a sugarcoated Guybrush, that leads to crude, unfair, dirty jokes not for everyone, especially in 2024. Jan 2, 2025
Doom 3 is the definition of "unfair gameplay". Everything you do, every path you take and even when you're still standing, the game puts you in the worst possible scenario of fighting. Are you collecting a health pack? Enemies spawns behind you and hits your back. Walking a straight corridor?Hellknight waits you at the end sponging your long distance weapons, suddenly the walls opens and short range quick demons are right at your throat. Hovever the whole graphics compartment is still a pleasure to the eye (except for the human models that looks all clones of the same). Boss fights could have been more intuitive.

DOOM + DOOM II9
Dec 20, 2024
Great release of Doom classics and expansions to revive one of the most influential game in the FPS sector. Talking about the port, it's a great work of refining and quality of life improving in game like interactive dynamic map, texture mapping and weapon particles, and technically speaking (you can easily lose yourself in the menu and options switching for graphics, music, sound, controls etc.)
On a gamewise talk, Doom still hold fantastically it's years, simplicity without being easy. No hint given you'll learn the hard way to manage ammo, find secrets, fight enemies, with a rather decent dedication to it. The cons are: Doom II, well pretty much everything to it. The design of levels, enemy placement, ammo count will constantly put you in difficulty. And the addition of 'joke' levels like a running away from a domino of exploding barrels, doesn't help this chaotic chapter. Play it, skip it and move to some DLC inside this great compilation. Multiplayer included, not tested.

DOOM 648
Dec 20, 2024
Doom 64 was a truly positive experience, coming from Doom II and it's messy arrangement of levels. The N64 port and enhanced edition goes back to a traditional FPS modus operandi, with well defined levels, fair enemy encounters even at hardest difficulties, and logical secret positioning. No running in circles to find the exit, rooms locking behind you with tons of monsters and one shotgun shell, and no Explosives Barrels run levels like Indiana Jones...
The cons are a wide arsenal of duplice weapon per ammo, pretty useless if you don't have some fave guns of your taste, and the lack of power ups classics of the series (partial invisibility, map reveal, night vision...)I think i've used the hazmat no damage maybe 3 times. Last thing, about the port, the map is a step down from previous Doom port, a couple of useless click more that perfection achieved on previous chapters.

Excellent entry of the Shantae's Saga, the Pirate's Curse adds and fixes the formula of their own version of platforming metroidvania. The narration is easy to follow, characters are well defined even if their backstory is a bit forgotten in the previous chapters. Technically is a vell rounded pixel art game experience where rarely you'll miss a platform or an enemy out of your gaming skills, and the flow is kept relaxed with lots of savepoints and safe respawn.
