The Last Dead End
Make no mistake, The Last Dead End on Xbox fails at nearly everything it attempts. It’s a shooter that has no effective guns, a horror game that never scares, and a narrative-based game that makes no sense. At a time when Resident Evil is getting its mojo back, it’s hard to find a reason to play something so rough-edged. The title of The Last Dead End becomes predictably appropriate: you’ll spend most of your time looking for a way out.

The Last DeadEnd is a game with elements of an adventure, shooter and horror. The Last DeadEnd is a lot of fun in the combat sections and proves to be a challenging game on its own, but the puzzles are somewhat simplistic and the dialogue needs some tweaking in its current state. Not to mention the bugs in the system that affects the best part of the game. It is a good game, but could be better with a few patches to fix some of the issues mentioned. There is a mysterious atmosphere of a real old city, where the protagonist seeks answers to his questions and fights against the forces of evil. In this game, we play the role of young scientist Farhad Novruzov, who returned to his homeland to help in filming a documentary movie for an international television channel. Here he faces strange events connected with the ancient religion of Zoroastrianism and the scientist has to find out the reason of these events. You’re given an axe and a pistol, who become your companions for the whole game we only found one other weapon. This sadly soon ran out of ammo just before the enemies arrived very soon after. These come in three varieties: zombies, snakes and crows. If you’re into the genre this is worth picking up despite the issues mentioned there is indeed fun to be had here. So don’t be afraid to head over to the Xbox digital games store if this is your cup of tea.

Although technically a disastrous game, we can call this game a good try. I congratulate the developers for their courage. But today there is no excuse for a game to be technically inadequate. People can do wonders even with an average computer. This game is a little easy and lazy. But it is necessary to start somewhere. I hope their next game will be better.
