Comfortable and challenging, only the variety is missing: Terrascape is the Sudoku of the construction genre.

Fanstastic cozy deckbuilder with good mechanics and replay value. Very nice little game.

A fantastic game for relaxed puzzle building without time pressure. The principle is very easy to learn, but can be quite challenging, especially in larger biomes. Core mechanics:
- combinatorial positioning and combining of buildings
- Drawing cards from decks for new buildings
- Improvements to decks and settlement levels The many puzzle challenges in the single player guide you step by step through the game mechanics. The graphic style, game mechanics and soundtrack invite you to pause and contemplate the worlds you have built. All in all, a unique mix of genres with great potential for future expansions, scenarios and further game options.

The game felt quite beautiful. I was in the first scenario which asks to create various buildings. As I placed a bunch of buildings I started getting more and more familiar with it. Felt pretty good initially. But then I noticed that I am required to place buildings that are "at least SILVER". I mean come on! I was just a beginner playing for the first time and cannot see where the silver or gold placements are shown. The game does a pretty bad job at that I guess. Next I noticed there are certain clusters of houses (placing them in a hexagon, placing specific combination together, mostly partially known combinations). So at this point the game became about finding places to implement those combinations. Too much. Then there were cards to place resources on a map and remove them as well (in very very limited ways). At this point it became too overwhelming and I quit. This doesn't seem like the "relaxing strategy" game that it's marketed to be.
