Synduality Echo of Ada is the ultimate extraction experience - sanding off rough edges and putting a shine on the most exciting elements of the genre. Bundled together with cool mechs, customizable characters, and tight combat just makes this sweet experience even sweeter.

SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is one of the most unique and entertaining online games that I've ever played. At the same time, it can be an extremely frustrating experience if you don't play it carefully so be prepared to keep your eyes peeled during every mission.

Echo of Ada inevitably casts a spell over you with its gameplay loop. Each mission is associated with a not inconsiderable risk, which is why you should always weigh up how much you want to risk. However, problems such as the tedious grind and the microtransaction model prevent the game from seriously challenging the best in the genre.

Synduality: Echo of Ada from developer Game Studio Inc. has the potential to be bigger and better than it currently is with the initial release. As it stands now, the gameplay is a bit bland with battles, the exploration needs to create more motivation to give players more meaningful substance, and bigger story pieces that could help players connect with the gameplay. Given time, this game could be outstanding.

If you give it a chance, SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is an interesting game. It will still be a repetitive game, but it ends up becoming addictive. Its unique world and the desire to discover more about it can make up for the high grind and frustration - especially at the beginning - of losing everything because you were too ambitious.

Sinduality: Echo of Ada is a good game for those interested in the extraction shooter genre. However, its reliance on microtransactions and the lack of a cooperative mode will significantly limit its audience. We recommend it for those seeking a more solitary and relaxed experience.

Synduality : Echo of Ada delivers some cool features but could be more that "just a good game" by enhancing few aspects.

The mecha-based extraction shooter offers a unique take on the genre with strategic, weighty gameplay and deep customization, but its repetitive missions, grind-heavy progression, and premium monetization elements hold it back from reaching its full potential.

Recommending a GaaS title is always a gamble, especially in its early days, and Synduality: Echo of Ada is no exception. The core gameplay is solid, engaging, and entertaining, but the game could have had more content and the monetization is aggressive, also the game doesn't always respect players’ time. The way Game Studio e Bandai Namco built up the game makes it similar to a free-to-play, and in that case it would be a must-play, but the €40 price tag may raise some eyebrows. However, if you're a fan of extraction shooters, intrigued by the game's distinct Japanese aesthetic, or looking for a less "hardcore" entry into the genre, it might be worth considering. The real question is whether Game Studio and Bandai Namco will support it with meaningful content updates; an official roadmap would certainly help. For now, trips to Amasia may feel bittersweet, but with enough dedication, the game could still deliver some highly rewarding moments.

We love the ideas this game offers, but we feel like the final product is half baked. We need more interesting missions and the overall look and feel seems to be from the previous generation. It is entertaining, but don't expect much more than that.
