Syberia è delle saghe che amo di più, ha toccato un punto basso con il terzo capitolo ma qui si è rialzata alla grande. La storia di Kate è e rimane meravigliosa ma è propro l'intero mondo di benoit sokal che è un idilliaca e malinconica avventura che vi porterà ad amare profondamente kate e i perso **** che incontrerete lungo tutti i vari capitoli dei giochi di syberia, potendo osservare una cura e una profonda passione del autore in tutto ciò che crea dalle ambientazioni, agli automi e poi i puzzle, arrivando fino a questo capitolo che fa della malinconia una nota ancora più forte e intensa e l'ho apprezzata tutta fino al finale, piangendo. Rip Benoit, ci mancherai <3

A wonderful surprise. As an old fan of Syberia franchise this was a great surprise. After the dissapointment that was the 3rd installment i was with low expectations. Luckily i was super wrong. This is a true flawless Syberia experience. A true sequel of the 2 first masterpieces. It looks wonderful, great music performed by Budapest orchestra and not some classic nowadays soundtracks performed by composers at their home. Do not get me worng there is nothing wrong about composers doin their job at home but **** know it grabs you by the neck by its "trueness". Exceptional work at ost and truely wonderful main theme. 10/10. Super nice story that continues previews lore and a promising end for something new. I just do not want to spoil anything. Bravo guys. I greatly enjoyed this. Tip: Don not listen here to these awful reviews. They just do not know the lore. Try it now.

I cannot rate it higher than the original syberia, but I find nothing to fault, if you liked the original this is a great entry to the series. The biggest comeback that I know of ( after the awful syberia 3)

This game is very beautiful, it looks more like a movie than a game, but I really liked it, the story is captivating, but the game does not have as many puzzles to solve as in Syberia 1 and 2

The game is just amazing! The story is very strong, interesting and **** the game has some graphics issues and needs to be optimised for different configurations.Generally everything is fine and I love it! I already been playing Siberia 1,2,3 and that’s the perfect continuation of the game!Love it!!!!

Not a game. Is just a visual novel with some clicks here and there. The gameplay consists in clicking objects already marcked with a circle, so you don't even need to find them, and read the letters or watch the cinematic. Until you click the object that makes you progress. That's all, no puzzles, no searching, no need to think. In between you have long walks, long phylosophical talks and paused cinematics that made me stand like 10min just watching a movie, since I can do any action again. In top of that someone thought adding QTE to a supposed point and click game will work. No QTE are just annoying.

What a story! Met level of the first two parts. Very well written rivets us to monitor. However, camera could be implemented better...

Great story, absolutely beautifully animated with really rich and interesting environments. The puzzles range from pretty straightforward to downright absurd (I've no idea how you are meant to do Musicians District 2 without some sort of guide/help), but are at the same time inventive. My one complaint is that from a trophy hunting perspective, all of the non story related trophies are missable, and with no chapter select if you miss a trophy in the final chapter (and they are VERY missable in normal play) you have to do the whole thing again. But truly an amazing looking point/click/puzzle solve/adventure game with a great story.

Kicsit nekem másabbnak hatott, mint az eddigi Syberia játékok, pl a fejtörők itt már nem voltak túl nehezek, a pályák könnyen teljesíthetőek, nem kell sok tárggyal bíbelődni az inventoryban, szóval nem kell rajta sokat gondolkozni, hogy éppen mit kell csinálni. A történet viszont rendben volt, ez a több szálon/időben való cselekmény egész jól hozta össze az egész szorit.

A thoroughly enjoying game from start to finish, well fleshed out characters, beautiful graphics, and a story that keeps you on your toes. Great addition to a gem of a series. we need more adventure games from the age of point and clicks.

"Syberia: The World Before" combines an exciting novel, high-quality interactive cinema, and smart puzzles. I've completed this game twice and recommend it to anyone who appreciates worthwhile things.

Beautiful game, with incredible visuals. Has a genuine old fashioned feel of adventure to it too. The game can be bit political and has Views which it brings out at many a turn, but not as aggressively as latest Ubisoft or ND games do, so its bearable and does not spoil the game or your ability to enjoy the journey. Pleasant surprise after the dreadful Syberia 3.

По сравнению с 3 частью, эта по управлению хороша. Лучшая часть в зD. Оптимизированная, вау. Сюжет... Вполне. Концовка... Открытая!? Зачем! Ну, зачем!? Ведь продолжения не будет. После первых двух частей, эта сразу на втором месте. Итог: 9.555/10

Ce quatrième volet de Syberia est un véritable délice visuel et scénaristique, un retour aux sources dans l'ambiance de Vaghen qui rappelle fortement Valadilène dans le premier jeu, tout en créant une atmosphère nouvelle, très belle et donnant envie de s'aventurer dans chaque recoin de cet univers. C'est un jeu contemplatif avec une histoire profonde qui touche divers maux de l'humanité, mais surtout de beaux aspects de l'être humain, avec une belle nuance dans les comportements humains. Tout n'est pas noir ou blanc, un personnage peut causer du mal par une intention qui peut sembler égoïste, et qui pourtant peut se révéler dans presque tous les êtres humains placés dans une situation similaire. Vraiment, le scénario n'est pas superficiel, il est très profond. L'intrigue est prenante et les revirements sont, bien que parfois prévisibles, extrêmement intéressants. Même si on peut parfois ne pas être surpris d'apprendre une information supplémentaire, le chemin pour y arriver est si travaillé, si précis, qu'on se fait prendre par l'étonnement. Graphiquement, il faut reconnaître que Syberia a fait un chemin exceptionnel depuis le premier volet. La lenteur contemplative est très équilibrée, comparativement aux premiers jeux qui sont, l'époque le justifiant, parfois très lents dans les déplacements. Celui-ci est juste et équilibré à cet égard. Les personnages sont bien faits, crédibles, les voix (françaises du moins) sont toutes très belles, avec de la précision dans les accents, puisque des personnages de diverses origines y sont présents, sans tomber dans les clichés. Les expressions des visages sont crédibles et profondes. Les puzzles sont assez recherchés pour avoir du plaisir à fouiller et à se casser la tête, sans toutefois tomber dans l'illogique comme c'était parfois le cas dans le troisième volet. Dans « Syberia : The World Before », tout est fait selon une certaine logique. L'omniprésence des automates dans la ville de Vaghen à la Syberia 1 dans Valadilène est un très beau retour aux sources qui m'a rappelé beaucoup mon enfance quand je jouais au premier jeu. Les paysages sont enchanteurs, travaillés, et soutiennent très bien le scénario. Vraiment, un petit chef-d'oeuvre que je ne peux que recommander ! Quelle belle oeuvre finale de Benoit Sokal, amplement à la hauteur de ce que nous aurions pu attendre.

The spirit and style of the first two games are completely passed on to this one. + Attention to details and memorable locations in the game + Nice Russian localization + Lovely music What I Dislike about Syberia: The World Before - Terrible controls. Don't know why, but my mouse clicks didn't respond on the first try. Sometimes it was a real challenge to open a document or move in the game. - A few critical bugs were found during the game. The blocked me and forced to find a solution on YouTube. - Graphics (especially facial) looks obsolete and mediocre in 2022

Syberia 4 is objectively one of the best point-and-click adventure games in the history of the genre itself. I'm not making that statement lightly at all since I've gone through hundreds of games since the 1980s. Could this have harder puzzles? Maybe, but that didn't make a bad game and some were well balanced. Could it have more modern movement physics? Maybe, but does it really need it? The game is an impeccable story and impeccable execution and quite long too.

Сеттинг интересный. Дизайн красивый. Сюжет выглядит довольно интересным. Но жаль, что игра нелюбимого мне жанра - квест. Из-за этого мне геймплей очень неприятен.

I have known Syberia for almost 15 years, and no other game has took the series off in my top. After the long-awaited, but controversial third part, I did not expect much from the sequel, but it is worth recognizing that the Microids, led by Benoit Sokal, were able to create something that fits perfectly into the world of Syberia, which is so loved by old fans. I was struck by how high-quality and elaborate this game turned out to be: script, direction, characters, soundtrack… The whole setting gives the game such a distinctive atmosphere that you don't want to exit it. Each member of the development team did their job extremely well, which led to an extremely high-quality project. The cons of the game, but rather minor shortcomings, are so lost against the background of a bouquet of positive emotions that they are not even worth mentioning. But what is really worth noting against the backdrop of numerous pluses is the role that music plays in the plot. In The World Before, it is sensual, beautiful, she enchants the player. As a musician, I definitely liked this innovation in the series. I am absolutely satisfied with the experience gained during the passage of the next part of the franchise. This game allowed me to plunge into my childhood and remember the authentic spirit of the series, for which I am very grateful to both Microids and Benoit. A truly worthy return of Kate Walker

Dieser Teil ist eine starke Verbesserung zum dritten Teil. Schöne Grafik, sehr gute und mitziehende Story, die Rätsel waren ein wenig zu einfach, aber ansonsten sehr viel Spaß gehabt. Игра впечатлила! После неудачной 3й части, уже не было надежды увидеть достойное продолжение. Но разработчики не просто смогли сделать на уровне, они смогли даже превзойти первые две части. У игры возможно есть какие то минусы, но о них не хочется говорить из-за потрясающей истории и шикарного гейм-дизайна.

Worthy continuation for the story and sequal the series deserves after the third installment. Adventure genre needs more praise than it gets these days.

полностью ещё не прошёл, но уже приятно удивлён качеству и проработке игры в знакомом стиле (мелодии и отсылки из прошлых частей)+ качественная русская озвучка и будто знакомые голоса. игра сильно отличается от демо версии с прологом в сильно лучшую сторону, видно как разработчик не терял зря времени. также были предположения что вид полюбившейся кейт испорчен и есть перебор с некоторыми повестками, но это лишь кажется на время пролога. как пройду полностью дополню отзыв, а пока 8.5 из 10 UPD. Наконец-то появилось время до конца пройти эту игру. Моё мнение не сильно изменилось с момента первого впечатления, однако, пройдя полностью, я просто восхищён и тронут до слёз сюжетом, это просто идеальная игра на мой взгляд, прекрасно продолжает серию замечательных игр, которые помнятся из детства и которые перепроходил специально до релиза этой части, наконец-то можно сказать что история полностью окончена и всё что было начиная с первой части было прекрасно и едино до самого конца. Преданные фанаты серии будут в восторге, уровень проработки вплоть до мельчайших деталей, отличная и знакомая музыка, озвучка персонажей достойная, стиль концепция игры выдержаны, хоть и видно что есть то, что не успели реализовать и графика не на самом современном уровне, но даже без этого игра идеальна и я абсолютно не жалею денег за предзаказ. игра на 10 из 10!

I love the game till 1999 when i play for the first time an adventure game point an click.I play all series Syberia, love the game and stories. Rip Benoit Sokal, your soul will be forever in this amazing games!

Beautiful and magnificent background music, advanced graphics, but a disappointing control system. (Mouse only system). If a sequel comes out, I hope it comes out as an OTS (Over the Shoulder) system rather than a fixed camera point of view...

Not quite interesting. Im not familiar with the Syberian series even being a hardcore gamer for decades. But after taking a tiny peek of what was this series was about in the game itself , found it apparently that I missed out something. Whatever the case after hearing a lot of chimes and whistles about it I decide to give it a try. Unfortunately I still cant budge with it. Maybe like some said, the nostalgia of the previous games? Graphs are barely ok . Are better that most indies around but not even close to instant classics of decades ago or outstading indies from later years. The history is quite poof. The personality of the main characters and situations is something like the classic novel little women. I even dare to say that maybe this game is too femenist for my taste? It seems for moments like a cheesy point and click romance graphic novel that you can find everywhere. Maybe the fanbase is aimed for female people ,that would explain a lot. Still I could ovelook that if the gameplay and activities would be more interesting/challenging. Is esentially to go from point b to c after searching something in a. The unique moment that I feel appealing is solving a puzzle of a sphere "the room" style,( one of the most interesting puzzles games series ever existed) that was a armadillo automaton or something. Unfortunately most game is about linear simplistic tasks like 98 percent only. But Im giving this game a 5 for effort. If I missed some unique games in the previous series I hope the fanbase bear with my thoughts.

Wow. Just completed the game this evening. I'm so blown away. The story was fantastic, it really gets the "feels" going. The backgrounds were stunning! Absolutely beautiful! A gift from the late and great Benoit Sokal. Im dying for the next chapter. The cliffhanger.... so good.

Очень сильно соскучился по новой части Сайберии. Отличная игра, неплохая история, интересные головоломки и красивые декорации. Дух первых двух частей Сайберии удалось передать. Ещё в игре мне понравилась музыка. Большое спасибо, Бенуа Сокаль
