Stylish. Impressive KO animations. Clear navigation and progression. „Block/parry” mechanic is awful. I can hardly parry a couple of attacks during the fight with multiple enemies. Moreover, it feels useless as you can use „leap” that is much easier to execute. The enemies with range attacks can shoot you through textures of places that you even have not discovered yet. Sometimes it makes really harder to reach some destination.

It's a complete disappointment. I didn't loose my temper after the game had unexpectedly shut down without saving my progress FOR 1 HOUR. But it was too much for me when it happened again. The combat system is primitive and lagged. You cannot either jump over your foes or dodge normally. If you stuck in between, to survive is almost impossible. The quests become boring once you understand the principle. The game's intro is too quick and not quite informative to understand the antagonist background, goals and motivation. The only one thing that deserves positive feedback is the overall visual style and colors. Maybe future patches will fix the majority of issues, but at the moment I recommend avoid this pale imitation of the metroidvania.

What I Like about Syberia: The World Before + Atmosphere is really great. Don't know why, but my mouse clicks didn't respond on the first try. Sometimes it was a real challenge to open a document or move in the game. - A few critical bugs were found during the game.
