I like this game its soooooo beautiful and amazing I want more of it bro its cool

Just like Galaxy 1, it's also a great game and one of the best 3D Mario games, gameplay wise is identical to Galaxy 1 but with so many new levels and cool new mechanics.

Didn't enjoy this one as much as Galaxy 1 but is still a great time gameplay wise. Would recommend this to any person with a switch,

Nintendo did it again. An all time classic. One of the best games ever made.

Dopo Mario 64 devo dire che non mi ero mai appassionato cosi tanto ad un altro titolo dell'idraulico italiano, il Sunshine mi aveva lasciato un pò perplesso, troppo difficile e sembrava quasi uno spin-off, mentre il controller di Wii non l'ho mai digerito, ma Galaxy 2 l'ho amato, divorato e portato ad essere uno dei miei titolo preferiti in assoluto. Per fortuna è tornato su Switch e me lo posso godere in una version emigliore.

Jugar Super Mario Galaxy 2 es como volver a abrir esa caja de juguetes favorita de cuando eras niño. Es un título que no solo derrocha creatividad en cada rincón, un gran plataformas en 3d. De los mejores y merece ser de los mejores valorados.

This is a massive upgrade from the original galaxy game , the level design is better , the menus are much faster and easier to navigate , these upgrades in my opinion makes the game perfect

Expanded everything its predecessor did and did it even better. I have no words to express how great this superlative game is!

This game is simply awesome. I'm reviewing it now even tho I already played it a long time ago. The gameplay is fun, the level design is really good and, the soundtrack is immortal. 10/10 game for sure.

El juego más perfecto de Mario, equilibra diseño de niveles, creatividad, dificultad y mecánicas originales, ignorando la historia (los juegos de Mario nunca resaltan por su historia), es Mario Galaxy 1 en esteroides y arregla sus pequeños errores.

Super Mario Galaxy is already a 10/10 game and this is the same thing but with more galaxies, greater variety, more well designed stars, a better soundtrack, a better hubworld, better powerups, better bosses, a substantially better postgame, much more engaging co-op, better comets, comet medals, fluzzard, and several things other things from the first game shoved into world S, but unfortunately less literature, no manta ray and this time you have to earn the right to having space mommy on your ship but other than that it is perfection.

This game is a masterpiece. I cannot remember a single thing I disliked about it (other than dying in the challenge worlds, which doesn't count). I love the gameplay and the galaxies. I hear a lot of people online saying that it lacks the "alone in space" vibe from Galaxy 1, but I don't mind. I enjoy seeing the blue skies in W1, as they make me feel calm. All in all, this game is a wonderful game, and if you haven't played it, you are definitely missing out!

Super Mario Galaxy 2 takes everything great about the original and focuses even more on gameplay. The levels are more creative, the challenges are tougher, and new additions like Yoshi make the adventure even more fun. There is almost no filler, with each stage introducing fresh ideas at an impressive pace. While it doesn't have quite the same emotional atmosphere as the first Galaxy, it makes up for it with some of the best platforming Nintendo has ever designed. The game constantly surprises the player and rarely wastes a single moment.

Jogo excelente, divertido, e nostálgico só não dou dez porque tem algumas fases que são meio chatinhas de ter terminar mas de resto é perfeito esse jogo.

Best 3d platformer of all time it does everything perfectly. The music is a treat that I still listen to this day, the game play feels very satisfying and the gimmicks just keep on coming. It never gets boring 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 perfects its predecessor’s formula, delivering even more imaginative levels, brilliant gravity-based mechanics, and inventive power-ups. Every world feels fresh, with clever challenges that reward exploration and skill. The soundtrack soars, visuals enchant, and the gameplay remains impeccably tight. A near-flawless evolution of 3D platforming, it’s a masterpiece that deserves a 9.9/10.

I think it’s safe to say that if Super Mario Galaxy is a staple of the Nintendo Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the underrated gem lost within the sand of time. Make no mistake, I think this game is really well designed. The controls are tighter, the new levels are super creative, the new power-ups are fun, the pacing is tighter, it’s not just a copy paste job. This feels like a proper expansion of Super Mario Galaxy. It may be the same engine, but it’s definitely not the same game. With that being said, I’m not a huge fan of the story. Unlike the last game, their’s no super dramatic cutscene showing off how terrifying Bowser has become. Meteors crashing, Mario rushing to save Peach, castles being ripped out of the Earth, it was one coolest intros I had ever seen. Here though, Bowser just gets big, rampages for a minute, and then just runs away with Peach. Not even swinging a punch at Mario, that’s pretty lame. It doesn’t ruin the game or anything like that. I personally just don’t find Giant Bowser to be that intimidating. After seeing him get really big in a dozen other Mario games, it’s practically become a cliche at this point. And dampens the whole experience for me. Why are your son’s boss fights better than yours? With that being said, I really like the new hub area. The Comet Observatory will always be iconic, I won’t deny that. But Starship Mario is one of the best set pieces of the game. Not only does it have great design, but I really like that all of the aliens you meet on your journey eventually end up joining your crew. It adds a really nice sense of progression. Personally, I think Super Mario Galaxy 1 is a thematically more interesting game. While Super Mario Galaxy 2 has the better level design. I know most people claim this game is just “more of the same”. But in actuality, it’s just more Super Galaxy. Brand new worlds to explore, brand new aliens, brand new bosses, it’s what a proper sequel does. It takes what worked in the last installment and expands upon it. Check it out when you got a chance, it’s a great time.

This game was an upgrade from the first but they added small grinding by collecting specific amount for stars from galaxy to progress further although it was also in the 1st one but it's not that polished in this game

Levels are really good but lacks some of the magic of the firsy Opus. Unfortunately the observatory disappeared

Marginally better than the first game, still not particularly interesting. It didn't hold my interest for more than a few hours. All the problems introduced in the first game are still present.

Masterpiece to this day, even on the switch 2. There is no other game like the mario galaxy games.

In comparison to the first installment, the atmosphere is not that punching, but the gameplay is better and with more interesting ideas. Still a bit linear though.

Expanding on the original while also being great as a stand alone title, totally recommend

Esta a la par del primero, pero es más de lo mismo, eso no quita que no sea un juegazo, innova lo justo pero que tengas que pasarte todos los niveles con luigi OBLIGATORIAMENTE para jugar el ultimo nivel me perece un poco mal, pero el resto esta muy bien

Incredibly disappointing sequel. I really enjoyed the first game and maybe the first fifth of this game. It quickly rehashes a lot of ideas the first game had and never really feels like a true sequel. It also forces you to do a lot more BS to get to the ending as just finishing all the unique level stars isn't enough, you have to do almost all the prankster stars as well. Some of the level design is made for a character that controls much better than Mario. A decent amount of trial and error that is just frustrating. This comes from unclear goals or just poor level design. The game also is a step down in theming. Rosalina's cool space station ship from the first game is gone, and now you have a tiny Mario head that takes about 2 minutes to explore and there isn't much here. Even the level select is lazier as it is just a tradition Mario path through levels instead of the cool galaxy view they had in the first game. For the boss fights, like the first game, a lot of repeats. Some stage fights are decent and unique, but the big Bowser fights all repeat. Even the last fight is a repeat fight, just with one extra bonus easy phase to it. But thinking back, Bowser fights have always been repeated in these 3D Mario games and never that good really. Overall, while there are some decent levels and the game looks great for a Wii game, there is just an abundance of issues here I cannot overlook. Even the decent levels are like B, B-'s. I was rating levels in my head and I think maybe 1 level out of the 71 stars I got was an A tier level. Lots of D's in there and that doesn't make a great game. 6.3/10

A fantastic follow-up to one of my favorite games of all time! I slightly prefer the first one, probably because it was so revolutionary, and felt so new. But the inclusion of Yoshi as well as many new innovative stages, makes this game as much of a must play as the first one!

It's an improvement on its predecessor in every way, and I appreciate the ideas behind it, it's clearly one of the best platformers ever made. However, being forced to use the Wii's motion controls didn't convince me. Sometimes it felt imprecise and got tiring, plus I've noticed I'm less and less inclined to play platformers, I don't enjoy them as much as I used to.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is one of the finest 3D platformers ever made—packed with unforgettable moments, clever design, and that unmistakable Mario magic. It's a must-play for fans of the genre and one of the best Mario games of all time.

A really good game I love it as well been just I'd still prefer the first one more though but I still think this game is still a must play the first one is like Mankind's greatest creation and the two is like the sequel to Mankind's Greatest creation

Secuela que explota todas las mecánicas vistas en su predecesor y agrega mecánicas nuevas, exprime al máximo lo grandiosa que fue la obra anterior, juego que es más lineal pero sigue siendo único tal como es la esencia Galaxy.

Es muy muy buen videojuego, mejora e implementa cosas en esta 2da entrega, mapas completos, originalidad, innovación, un mundo que vale la pena explorar, hay gente que incluso lo pone por delante de Super Mario Oddessey y entiendo por qué, ojalá Nintendo vuelva a ser como era con Satoru Iwata y ponga bastantes de sus artículos a precios razonables y accesibles y deje de ponerlos caros (precios justos y balanceados son los que deben poner, no cualquier tontería o Port a precio de locura), yo sé que no soy dueño de una empresa de videojuegos pero creo que 30-40 dólares como máximo estaría bastante bien para un videojuego de Nintendo Switch que sea de muy buena calidad y que sea muy costoso de producir, y ganarían dinero de sobra pero 70 dólares o más es excesivo.
