With some excellent kiddified gameplay, superb graphics and enough content to keep the little people quiet – for a while at least – this is a fine example of how to use a tie-in licence properly.

Almost every level is similar: what begins as fun, ends up maddening, because of constant dying and restarting over due to problems of overly sensitive obstacles, control issues in jumping from platform to platform, too much blind jumping, and in one particular level, really bad "touch" detection.

I really liked the game, it was the one I played most when I was growing up.

While the PS1 version of this game is a blast from the past, the GBA version for me is just you're generic 2D platformer with really nothing else to add to the table. There are some different types of gameplay spread out throughout the game, like driving and avoiding spiders??? However, the difficulty is absolutely unforgiving. Especially when you reach the pipe level in the game, I can't remember the name of it but believe me, I never got past this level. This game isn't even really all that bad, the platforming levels are perfectly fine, but I don't see myself ever returning to it.

Zippy music, nice animation, multiplayer racers and good variety. [July 2002, p.150]

It’s a very standard platform game with some nice graphics and speech thrown in. The password save will infuriate you, along with game music that will most likely send you to an asylum.

Adults: take a point or two off the overall score if you're intending to pick up Stuart Little 2 for yourself. If you're buying it for a young kid, add a point.

One thing's for sure: if you're older than eight years old, you shouldn't even think of playing with this mouse.

Stuart has to frequently move off the edge of the screen without any indication as to what's ahead. This often results in losing health or lives. [Winter 2002, p.48]

Another movie tie-in game that's aimed at younger audience, is a platformer, and ****. While you are mostly playing easy and boring 2D platforming sections (sadly the best parts of the game) it will mix it up from time to time, but when it does the difficulty takes a pretty big spike. So much so in fact I don't see most kids finishing it. It's too difficult for young gamers, and too boring for gamers over the age of 10, so it really has no audience at all. Even if your a huge fan of the Stuart Little movies, there are better uses of your time then playing this boring and downright tedious game that's almost completely devoid of fun.
