Fantastic game! The best Harvest Moon since forever! Love this to death! So good!

Wow, this having a rating higher than Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma is wild. It's not even in the same league. It's a good game. I've sat with my girlfriend playing this and it is probably the best SoS game I've sat with her playing. Certainly better optimization, than Mineral and Olive Town. Olive Town seemed to be better gameplay though. It looks great, music is a bit hit and miss with some songs being a bit annoying. The game just seems to hold itself back unnecessarily. Like the fully upgraded bag is just not even close to big enough. My GF is constantly having to go back to the house to make space. An option to craft, or buy extra storage, not only for storage but so different item types can be stored separately in different boxes is severely missing. As is a dedicated fridge. Farming is restrictive due to field restrictions. Farm redesigning is non existent. It does have a great gameplay loop but this really feels like an old game in new packaging. There are just so many times when I'm saying why don't you do that and she replies you can't do it in this game. They should have completely modernised this game and they didn't and it shows in the lack of many staple gameplay elements from games in the genre. I wouldn't say it's a lazy remake in the fact it is a good recreation but it is lazy in the fact it needed a lot of quality of life improvements that they just haven't added. Still, for what it is, it's really good but **** Valley, Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma, Harvestella and Coral Island all absolutely destroy this game. I'd say Rune Factory 5 is better too if you can deal with RF5's bad optimisation. A real missed opportunity because with just a little more development this game could have been a 10. The total lack of farm options is a real set back though. I'm not going to do a playthrough myself when my GF is done cos 3 small fields and basement for crops, lack of storage and no farm design is a big no for me. I don't see the point in some mechanics like uprooting and storing trees, when they don't give you sufficient storage to go storing trees for 3/4 year. If you can overlook the flaws, you'll be hooked. It's too mid for me to entertain with zero design elements. I've played too many great farming games to play this at this stage. Still enjoying helping my GF out with it. To have no dungeons, little storage, limited fields and no farm design is too many things missing.

One of the best entry in the SOS series. Progression was challenging in a good way. The addition of walking random NPCs really makes the village alive. My one issue is that the love interests, especially the women, does not feel unique compared to one another. They are all the "nice" type and seems like the same person with different fonts.

I was so excited for this game, I bought it day 1 and now I'm a little disappointed. To me this game is a little bit boring, the mayor talking too much, the characters aren't intresting... on the other hand farming is so good and the whole game ui, graphics are really nice. I bought this game and two weeks later Harvest Moon Winds of Anthos and the new HM game is more fun to play to me. I'll back to Grand Bazaar later, because it's not a bad game.

Pretty good looking, nice gameplay, fun progression. Been playing it for 80 hours already and ready for some more. I’m 33 now and I’ve been playing farming games since I was 14 - this one is my favorite of all.

As someone who has played all of the original team Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons games: I can confidentially say that this title is the absolute best Story of Seasons title of all time! A lot of work went into this remake. It's nothing like the original Grand Bazaar which is good. It feels like a brand new game. Visually beautiful, great mechanics, memorable characters and the inclusion of quite a bit of voice acting is very welcome indeed!

I have loved Story of Seasons since I was a kid. This game is such an amazing remake, as someone who played the original, and I have thrown myself into the game in tenfold. Give it a try, it's amazing!

There is a reason the SoS franchise is beloved. Grand Bazaar brings the classic SoS legacy into the current world of cozy gaming and amps it up to eleven with the INCREDIBLE weekly bazaar!! The graphics, story, voice acting and MUSIC are all top notch and the gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying and addicting. This game will have a chokehold on my life for the foreseeable future!!

It's a fun game but once you open all the windmills, you will no longer need many sellers in the bazaar. The truly ridiculous thing is that those who want to open a stand at the bazaar give you tasks, and as you complete those tasks, new stands are opened. If you want to open a stand at the bazaar, why should I have to do your task? It's the mayor's job, not mine. The task system is absolutely ridiculous. I farm, I fish, I cook, I make jewelry. So why do I need to help NPCs open stands? I do almost everything myself! Also, there's EXPENSIVE stock cubes you can buy from Nature Sprites and put your items in them. However, this EXPENSIVE cubes are for specific locations but if you want to use travel feature of this EXPENSIVE cubes, you have to upgrade them which is even more EXPENSIVE. A game full of small map, boring and mandatory side quests, uninteresting and boring characters. AND YOU CAN'T SAVE THE GAME OUT OF THE HOUSE IN 2025!

Best story of seasons yet, much better than olive town! The bazaar is a pretty easy and fun mechanic.

Although there are still some unreasonable and cumbersome problems with the game's system and operation, the fresh and cute art style, lovely interactive details, rich plot events(with full voice acting!) , and the ever-driven flow of the setting, make it the best Story Of Season series since the NS era.

O jogo está maravilhoso. É um remake, então tem algumas limitações. Mas adorei. Movimentação viciante, jogabilidade ótima. Realmente é um jogo que te suga quando vc senta pra jogar. Ta lindo de mais. Eu queria um mapa um pouco maior e existem algunspoucos lugares que o framerate cai, queria que fosse sempre estável. Mas a experiência está excelente. Indico. É uma compra que muito provavelmente vai entregar a experiência que você busca no jogo.

easily one of the best Story of Seasons games since Trio of Towns on the 3DS, if not since the DS golden era. an absolutely lovely reimagining of grand bazaar with beautiful visuals, engaging mechanics (something that I always find myself missing from contemporaries such as Rune Factory), and nice vibes. it's a bit silly of me, but I think the thing that stands out most is how the game uses both 2D portraits and fully animated 3D cutscenes at the same time. that's something I've wanted sos/rf to do for as long as I can remember! worth picking up for any fan of the genre, from the most casual **** Valley fan to the diehard AWL 100%ers. can't wait to see what they do with the new non-remake entry coming up. note: I played on Switch 1 and ran into no glaring technical flaws. it performs well!

Awesome how truly and honestly character creation made. Love the idea that you could be anyone you like and where your fantasy'll take you. Kids love it

Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar is easily one of the most underrated gems in the farming sim series. The bazaar mechanic is brilliant because it makes you think strategically about what to grow, craft, and sell while giving every in game week something exciting to look forward to. Instead of just shipping items in a box you are actively running your own little stall watching customers come by and feeling proud of your hard **** farming itself is simple but satisfying. Crops grow quickly animals are adorable and the crafting system adds a nice layer of depth. It is not as overwhelming as some of the newer farming sims which makes it perfect for relaxing **** characters are sweet and full of personality. The marriage candidates all have their own charm and the dialogue makes the small town feel cozy and alive. Even after hours of play I found myself wanting to learn more about everyone.Visually the DS era graphics still hold up in their own charming way. Bright colorful and cheerful it matches the game’s wholesome vibe. The music is light and catchy fitting perfectly with the atmosphere of each season.Overall Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar may not be the flashiest entry in the Story of Seasons series but it shines in its simplicity creativity and heart. If you love farming sims and want something cozy yet unique this game is absolutely worth it.

Started playing it release day, have since put many hours in. I love the customization options as well as the designs of the NPCs.

As a fan of the franchise since a young age, this is gold. I tried playing the original Grand Bazaar sometimes, but never did progress. With this release happening in my birthday, I felt like buying it and it definitely was the right decision. It feels pretty different and similar to the DS version at the same time. Surely an improvement of the game, and of the franchise.

Best Story of Seasons remake. A lot of QoL updates, fully-voiced cutscenes, enhanced graphics, an option to show character sprites from the original game, etc. What more can you ask for? Top 1 cozy game this year

Amazing remake, many QOL added to the game, gameplay loop is addicting, amazing graphics, runs great on switch 2, top notch voice acting, great music, it has some good story elements. Currently my top 1 in the Story of Seasons series.

As a life long Story of Seasons fan I have experienced the highs and lows of this series. I did play the first Ds Grand Bazaar and recently visited my old town to remember what it was like. This remake is so polished and a lot of love has been put into it. There is never a dull moment! juggling all of your tasks while getting to know the town folks makes it hard to put down the game. They went all out on the voice acting , music, and character stories! Overall I believe it is the best story of seasons to release on the Switch2.

A really good remake of the old DS game. All around d good game. Characters are great to interact with, lots of QoL,Glider exploration is fun, and the inclusion of voice acting and the return of portrait really helps elevate the game. Its the best of modern Story of Season.

Marvelous delivered on an amazing experience: the environments, mechanics and the amazing cast of characters make this game an improvement over not just the original Grand Bazaar, but also the entire Story of Seasons franchise as a whole. At the same time it retains that nostalgia and cozy, beautiful vibes with both the art style and the entertaining game loop.

SoS Grand Bazaar is a faithful and creative remake to the original game. Aside from remaking it, there's also been various new additions such as character creation, more story content, interactions, and of course- voice acting! It is a delightful bundle and definitely worth the wait. I also appreciate that there is same-sex marriage, as well as the additions of the new love candidates. I am happy that there are characters like Diana and Harold etc., I appreciate that the team is making the effort to have diversity in its cast; that I can applaud. A side mention- I'd also like to stress on the game's OST- it is absolutely WONDERFUL to listen to! I love the way they make the nighttime and rainy weather so immersive(?) with the ambience and of course, beautiful music. My favorite is the piano piece that plays at night; it reminds me of the famous piece Clair de Lune, which is also my favorite! All-in-all, I wanted to be more strict, but I really can't. It's a very full, flavorful pack of things in a game that makes it complete. Honestly, the only thing I'll point out is the SFX for the horse's galloping. I'm guessing it's triggered on contact with collision, so it's very repetitive. I love all the characters, but I feel like I've been charmed by the cool, hardworking-but-cute Diana! Thank you for breathing life into the series!

It's an adorable game! Story of Seasons always creates such cozy atmospheres and they hit the mark with this one. So fun!

genuinely love this game. only played a few hours so far but I love the bazaar feature, it adds a nice freshness to the farming sim genre. designs are gorgeous, character customisation has something for everyone, and all the animals are super cute.

Im loving the game so far i just miss levelling with my tools ,can t wait for the Wedding ^^

As someone who played the original ds title this remake is an amazing faithful reaction of the magic i felt as a kid playing the original.

My new favorite story of seasons game, it brings so much to the table. I actually cannot put it down, it's addicting.

I'm gonna keep it short but straight to the point. Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar is one of the better entry in the series.

I fully believe that this is one of the best Story of Seasons game in the series and it makes me so excited to see where they take the game series from here!! (The addition of pronouns and same sex marriage had me so stoked!!)

Incredible remake **** from the DS era! Makes the original obsolete in every way imaginable.

This game makes the original obsolete in my opinion. The visuals are overhauled to be bright but not overly saturated. The OST is reimagined. The cast is more diverse and lively thanks to the fantastic VAs and the new cutscenes. The map is expanded. There is a numer of additional gameplay mechanics to fill the time between market days, my biggest gripe with the first title. The player can customize their character however seems fit. It runs great on all platforms tested. This game is by far the best entry on the Switch and my favourite since Trio of Towns. I highly recommend it!

I've played the original so many years ago and this remake is wonderful and almost identical to the previous version.. with a few added quirks. So far no complaints here. It still has the same heart and soul the Story of Seasons games (and older Harvest Moons) always had.. it truly shines that essence into the game that no other cozy game or series can replicate or compare to. But, this is coming from a Harvest Moon (now Story of Seasons) veteran player of 28 years.. so there's some slight bias lol. Anyway.. it's a great entry into the series for newcomers even so I definitely encourage trying it out if you love cozy games/farming sims. Apparently there's people complaining about same-sex options which.. c'mon guys, it's a video game. I was marrying the ladies as a Cis, straight female from the very beginning.. and bachelors became a thing many years later and I never once complained about marrying another girl. They're fictional characters. It's an option people have if they want it.. just avoid it if you don't like it. It's not difficult. Rant to haters aside.. one thing I appreciated in this remake was the more easygoing pace of which the quality of your products went down. In the OG it was less forgiving where I had to get upgrades early to keep things fresh. One game mechanic that I wasn't to fond of, to be honest. But in this version, it's surprising how long stuff stays fresh. It's nice. (Even the flower in the vase!) I look forward to playing it even more! Binged for hours last night. Nostalgia galore! Music at home is the same (I hummed along) and it's fun ringing my little bell again. Ring-a-ding ding! Oh! And thank you for making bazaar days easier to sell things. Much more simple. So far there's no verbal appealing to customers like there used to be but I'm still relatively early on in the game.. so that might change. But hopefully with that it'll be made more simple as well! We'll see. Anyway, I've been rambling. You want to feel that Story of Seasons and old Harvest Moon charm..? I definitely recommend. 10/10 from me and then some!

A great remake, that takes everyhting the original had good and makes it even better.

One of the best cozy games I’ve played since a long time. The graphics, the vibe and gameplay are all above my expectations.

The original Grand Bazaar game for the DS is my favorite HM/SoS game, so I was very excited when I heard that there would be a remake. I wasn’t disappointed! The developers have added quality of life updates. For example, we now have improved storage that is accessible from any location, a map that shows where the heart events and random events take place, a separate tool bar that frees up more bag space, and many more things!In addition, the game is also not just a remake with better graphics. There are new characters to romance, new animals to farm, new festivals, and a new exploration feature with the glider! I also love the modern touches that have been added to the game such as character customization. We live in a world where people of all walks of life exist, and it’s not a bad thing to add skin color, hair styles, pronouns, and same sex marriage. It shows that Marvelous cares about its players.I hope anybody on the fence about this game will give it a chance. It’s beautiful and you can tell the developers have a lot of love for what they created.

This remake of Grand Bazaar is not just a regular remake. This has a level of attention to detail that other Story of Seasons games have not reached. To say that I am enjoying my experience with this release would be an understatement. The voice acting, the character development, the character customization, the animals and the farming, not to mention the BAZAAR! It’s all such a blast and I’m looking forward to playing this for years to come.
