It's a pretty ok RPG. The story was okay, but not the best. I think the gun play is pretty lame, and also there were some bugs in the game, which didn't let me continue a side quest

I can't believe how vast this game is. I've sunk hundreds of hours into it and have barely scratched the surface. Incredible.

The graphics are nice, but everything else is bad because it doesn't support Arabic. I rate it 0.

That few extra steps+loading screen each time to visit 1 planet is a complete disasters. There are no Skyrim/Fallout4 feeling of discovery at all in this game.Heck, they even shown the location of dungeon/cave before we even land on a planet. What were you thinking Sir?i called this a T.Howard 1000 planets disaster.Ambitious indeed.Aside from that, actually this game still offers one of the most detailed environment ive ever seen and Masterclass in Main/side missions design, each of every one them feels unique/different and interesting in its own ways(although it feels worst overall if compared to Skyrim/fallout4).Overall,it definitely not as good/memorable as their previous Masterpieces.Hopefully they didnt stray too far and remembered what makes their game special in the first place

Starfield is, unfortunately, a very mediocre game. After spending around 60 hours with it, I completely lost interest and dropped it. That said, it's still a pretty interesting game to **** the positive side, the faction quests are, as usual for Bethesda games, quite well done. The moral choices are nice and not always black and white, and the game genuinely lets you behave like a complete scumbag, which is honestly pretty fun. As for the gameplay, while it lacks impact, it's still enjoyable enough. On PS5, the DualSense adaptive triggers add a nice feeling to the gunfights, and the spaceship battles can be fun too, even if they're often frustratingly difficult. Unfortunately, that's where the praise ends.Starfield falls short in almost every aspect, especially when compared to a game like Cyberpunk 2077. First, let's talk about the technical side. The game is full of bugs, everywhere, all the time. It's a pain to play. I experienced numerous crashes, which had a huge impact on my motivation to keep going. Beyond that, the game has virtually no cinematic direction whatsoever. It's very hard to get attached to the dialogue or the characters because there's almost no effort put into presentation, aside from maybe one or two moments in the main quest that briefly stand out. And honestly, the game is ugly. It genuinely looks like a last-generation **** for the main story, it's nothing special. You're basically collecting artifacts here and there without really knowing why, which makes the whole thing pretty unengaging. In the end, the faction quests remain, as usual, the most interesting storylines. The game's biggest weakness is its game design and gameplay loop, which are absolutely tedious. Space exploration is simply bad and completely uninteresting. There's nothing to discover, no secrets to uncover, nothing. The planets are desperately empty and boring to explore. The creature variety is extremely limited, making most combat encounters feel pointless, and the dungeons are a nightmare because almost everything looks the same. Quest progression often feels more like an Excel spreadsheet simulator than an RPG. Mr. X asks you to see Mr. Y, so you fast travel to another planet. Mr. Y then sends you to another planet or space station to retrieve an item or talk to Mr. Z. You fast travel again, and by this point you've spent 15 minutes doing nothing except opening your map and spamming buttons to skip terrible dialogue. Once you arrive, you usually have the option to resolve the situation peacefully, which is painfully boring, so you choose violence just to get a tiny dose of fun except your companion suddenly thinks you're an **** for doing so. Then you go back to Mr. X, collect your reward, and do it all over again. There are a few enjoyable exploration sequences, like the first Crimson Fleet mission or the opening quest of the first DLC, but aside from those rare moments, the game is phenomenally boring. In short, don't play Starfield. You're wasting your **** play Cyberpunk 2077 instead if you want incredible presentation, exciting gameplay, and memorable quests and characters.

I played it on ps5 pro. The whole game is a huge bug. I barely finished The main campaign while bugs and crashes appeared all The time and I was forced unto machinations in order to proceed. I dont recommend this game at all. We are customers ffs, not beta testers. If Bethesda cant produce a game of this scale without bugs Then its prefferable not to do it at all.

Oyun motoru eskidi. Uzayda geçen Fallout 4 gibi gelmeye başladığı an bıraktım. Galiba Bethesda oyunlarını sık aralıklarla oynamanın dezavantajı bu oyuna ısınamamak.

After 75+ hours in, encountering multiple bugs and having to wait long for fast traveling & the game to load in, it kills the flow of the game. Also missing the goofiness Bethesda normally brings.

Nah, this has to be one of the worst games I have ever played. Not because of the content, not because of the storyline, I really think it would have been incredible. The crashes and bugs in this game are innnnnsaaaaannne. I have a ps5 pro with an 8k capable samsung and this game has found a way to destroy any joy I have had at the beggining. The terren dlc soft locked me out because I didn't do the major incursions right away because I had the outpost missions, I collected the xeno sample and kaiser no longer talked to me, my ship just randomly blows up when I travel to a planet I warp in and boom and then crashes. The crashes after just jetpacking which is very consistent, I have lost soooooo much time just reloading a previous save, an entire outpost build on top of that. I have Uninstalled to reinstall I have no mods at all. I went from loving this game to absolutely hatttting it as one of the worst games of all time for me. So much so I will never buy another Bethesda game again. I asked for support they said they would push my ticket and never got back to me. Nooo I will save you now" DO NOT BUY THIS GAME"!!!! please for your own sake .

I can't give any more credit after the game crashed 8 times in just 3 hours. Irresponsible!

Have over 150 hours into the game, generally enjoying it bit crashing every hour or so got annoying. Bethesda claims to have released a patch, it downloaded and installed on my PS5, with exactly zero noticeable changes to anything. Today I have spent the last half hour sending crash reports to Sony because the game won’t even load. Got past this issue once by loading a save from three hours previous and managed to play for quite some time more. Now, same thing happens, and am hoping my save from 2 hours ago works. This game is enjoyable but Bethesda’s support for it is garbage and the amount of corrupted saves is unforgivable from a supposed AAA game company. Indie games work better than this garbage. Last Bethesda game for me.

Starfield is the worst entry to date. The worst thing you could do to that engine was making a space game and it shows. Boring, procedurally generated wastelands, NPCs that feel like walking corpses and you will spend 90% of your time just walking, fetching a thing, bringing it back. The main quest has the most boring storyline of every game that I ever played. This game made me lose hope for TES VI.

Starfield offers an expansive universe with endless possibilities, but its story and worldbuilding lack the depth needed to truly captivate. Despite its scale, many of its locations feel disconnected and lifeless, which weakens the sense of exploration. Gameplay systems are solid, but the overall experience feels like a missed opportunity to deliver a more meaningful and immersive narrative.

CHOPPY SPACE UI ZERO PERSON QA TEAM Starfield Review – Solid game held back by annoying post-update bugs (PS5)I really enjoy Starfield’s ship building, exploration, and the new Free Lanes/Cruise mode that was added in the April 2026 update. The sense of flying your own custom ship through space is still one of the best parts of the game. However, there’s a very noticeable and distracting bug with the ship engine trails. When you decelerate in cruise mode, approach a planet, or transition to orbit/parking, the thruster trails start jumping around wildly — they zip, zap, and detach from the engines instead of staying smooth and attached. It happens consistently on PS5 and makes normal flight feel broken and unpolished. This issue appeared (or got worse) after the Free Lanes update. A PC mod already exists to fix it, but console players like me on PS5 have to live with it or lower particle settings as a weak **** rest of the game is fun and has improved with patches, but visual glitches like this on something as central as ship flight are frustrating. Bethesda, please patch the engine trail behavior — it would make the experience much cleaner.Recommended with the hope this gets fixed soon.

Easily one of the worst games they have ever made, and that says a lot. Bad characters, bad world design, bad lore, bad weapons, bad RPG everything, and more than anything else, they committed the worst crime you can when making a game, it's just plain boring.

After 100+ hours in 2023, I came back to check out ¨Free Lanes¨ hoping Starfield had finally evolved into the game it always hinted at becoming, especially after two DLCs and updates. Instead, it still feels like a massive missed opportunity. Beneath all those great ideas lies clunky design and an outdated engine that constantly drags you through menus and loading screens, killing any sense of immersion. Exploration, the very thing that defines Bethesda games, is almost completely undermined here. Still, I give it a 6. There are some good quests buried in there, even if the NPCs feel lifeless, but it never comes together as the cohesive, immersive experience it should have been.

A lot of the game could be skipped if you could just send an email. The game is loading screens galore, and has boring dialogue, characters, and locations. The crafting, combat and ship building are great, so there is some fun to be had. But there's just so much pointless filler in between the actually interesting parts, it's hard to recommend. It's not uncommon to go through 8+ loading screens to progress to the next step of a single mediocre quest. They really needs to fix that before TESVI.

The laziest game they ever made, simply.
By trying to please everyone and keeping esrb low, they made a completely bland game, where nothing matters and nothing have any sense:
-the plot is minimalistic, whith NG+ in mind, erasing all purpose of what we do during the game, forget any crafting or settlement, it'll be erased at the end of the game
-flat and meaningless NPC's, devoid of any flavour or interest to prevent player of missing something if we don't care
-not a single choice in the game, we're on rails
-crests are pointless too, loots are garbage and doesn't adjudt on your progression or rarity -crafting weapons is meaningless too, you'll find a better gun 5 minutes later on the ground
-no ET, just same human models created with the character creation system
-no exploration at all, same squares with same POI and ennemies on any planets
-ship crafting pointless, you can really quick afford a ship that surpasses all your stats within minutes
-vehicule is a joke, was not supposed to be here bc of the nature of self created maps which were not designed with vehicle in mind
-pirates ennemies 99% of the time, lame AF
-temples copy/pasted, devoid of any interest to explore
-traditionnal bugs like every beth's games
-only good point: textures and solar dystem implemented in their "CE 2.0", wich works...
What a waste of time for me ...just launching it sometimes to laugh on the bugs and how childish/lame the writting is, all these years fir that, it's semm like a "10 years pre prod and 1 week to produce" product to me...
Avoid it at any cost, or just if you want to laugh and see "what not to do in a game"

This game made me confirm 2 things; 1). just because you love a developer, it does not mean you have to love EVERY single game it has produced, and 2). big does not neccesarily mean yummy. As a fan of Skyrim and Oblivion (and the Mass Effect games), it hurt me to play Starfield only to get scared by the fact that if its this much of a trudge-fest (despit having some gorgeous graphics and gameplay elements) then how many more hours/weeks/months of this can I endure? I woudl arther go for short and sweet instead of cherry- picking my socks off all for the sake of a long winded adventure!

Even though Starfield is a game riddled with flaws and shortcomings, for me it was a one-of-a-kind experience. Feeling like a true space explorer and being able to immerse myself in such a well-crafted universe was exactly what I was looking for in this game. With over 200 hours under my belt, I can say I’ve seen everything this game has to offer. The spaceship building is definitely one of the best parts. The gameplay is excellent for an RPG, and while the plot moves slowly, it has several surprising twists. The Faction Missions are exceptional, and New Game Plus is literally incredible.

It's a loading screen simulator; aside from the main story, everything else is tedious. If the loading screens didn't exist, you'd finish the game in 50 hours.

All of the bad of a Bethesda game with none of the good. Boring world with no stakes or interesting characters and 4/10 combat. Todd has lost his marbles with this one folks. Soundtrack is fine and ship combat is cool.

It's a good game however I have played it and I have found two major problems **** game will kick you back to your system home screen after about 20-30 minutes which happens more often the further you get in the game
**** games missions will randomly break and you will be unable to complete it

Starfield is poorly written horribly designed extremely outdated and unacceptably broken. To call it a disappointment is an understatement it ruined all the hype I had for ES6. It's sad but its clear Bethesdas best days are behind them they simply can't compete with modern studios like CDPR Larian or Warhorse.

I hope this review will be helpful for those who are looking forward to the PS5 version of this game.I even bought an Xbox console just to play this title, but honestly, it was a disappointment. While the game is often criticized for its frequent loading screens and the inability to seamlessly travel to planets, I feel the biggest issue is the lack of engaging action.Gunfights, spaceship combat, and battles using special abilities all felt repetitive and failed to capture my interest.Additionally, the building system felt more like a chore, as it mainly involves combining pre-made parts, offering little sense of freedom or creativity.Overall, I cannot recommend this game.

Amazing game and future support will make it even better. Needs to be ported to the Switch 2
