Yeah guys... the popping is still there, somehow. I was expecting more from the Definitive Edition. I wanted better skies—the lighting and weather could be so much better—and a higher resolution like 1440p or 4K. Honestly, this DE is disappointing. I’d rather play the original. Sorry, Morio Kishimoto... I'm a huge fan of Frontiers but we need complete edition one... (With no game key card... Yes and bring us The Upgrade Pack...)

An already embarrassing game was re-released for a premium with minimal enhancements. Save your time and money.

Full price for a game without upgrade packs for players. This is totally a scam for customer’s money. No purchase for sure. If you first time to play, I recommend for switch 1 version. This is also a game key card. You have to using the space for have this lower 64GB, but Nintendo already offer other card option.

I have beaten this version front and back, and have over 400 hours on PS5, and 50 hours on PC. i Know this game inside out and really like this game. Now when i say this version is awful and you should avoid it, you REALLY should. The original Switch version looks awful, especially compared to the console versions, so we were exited for the Switch 2 release. Fidelity mode looks fine but has terrible frame pacing issues, and still noticeable lack of quality compared to PS4 AND PS5. And performance mode is laughably bad. it runs at a 60fps sure, but the visuals is not much better than Switch 1, which like i said, Looks AWFUL. click on the link to see the difference ****/r/SonicFrontiers/comments/1rvxvea/frontiers_really_needs_a_switch_2_version_cuz_the/ its a game key card meaning that the DLC has to be downloaded anyway, which it is Free anyway. and they have the AUDACITY to charge MORE for this version compared to the PS5 and PC versions TL:DR, it takes a good game, and makes it worse and charges more. Classic SEGA move. if you want Sonic Frontiers, get it on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC for the mods. If switch is all you got, man i feel bad.

Most of the time it feels good to me, maybe not the best port, but I'm glad they tried.

If a switch 2 is all you have, this version of frontiers is fine, but it's absolutely lacking with how the game performs. We have seen games way more demanding work decently well on the switch 2, but for some reason, frontiers can't look good in 60fps or run good in 1080p, let alone 4k. Truly a disappointing "definitive edition" ****. I guess the pop in is a little better i guess

Sonic Frontiers is an amazing game, but Definitive Edition my a$$, it literally runs better on PS4, it makes no sense to call it definitive if it isn't even the best version of the game, also it has no upgrade path if you already bought the game, its a game-key card, and many other issues like that, i think this game is only worth it if the Switch 2 is all you have and don't have Switch 1 Frontiers already, but overall, its a sad excuse to celebrate Sonic's 35th anniverssary

Best game i have ever played. The leveldesign is great and Sonic in an open world is amazing. I also really liked the controls.

Love this game, i think its a fine port, and i enjoy it, however i do wish there was something new implemented into this version worthy of calling it the “definitive edition”

I feel like this game was thrown together for the 35th anniversary but I have a way to frontiers at 60fps while on the go I’ll take it. Outside of that I think the resolution and how the game looked could’ve been improved, I’m thankful that the pop in was improved a lot, I think that we could get some updates that help improve the game because going for the switch 1 version to this is a pretty decent improvement and is definitely a good way to play frontiers if you haven’t yet or your a handheld gamer that’s constantly on the road

Game is good price is pretty fair (look at companies game prices now) the graphics and pop ins are fixed and theres a better drawing distance all the dlc are packed and yeah this game is definitely better than original frontiers and the only problem i have is the hype was bad and a game key card were both only a little bad but overall I like it

Really solid port despite handheld looking bad and it’s way better then Switch 1 version, despite the pricing I still think it’s worth it
