how did sonic even have fans after this disgrace to gaming, i will forever say the only good sonic games of all time are sonic racing crosworlds and sonic adventure 2, and sonic adventure 2 is mediocre

Definitely not a good game but also not a bad game. The story is bland and the characterization is good, the gameplay in most stages, is good, the Avatar stages are probably my favourite, the sonic stages with the aiming attack is good but classic sonic stages is probably my least favourite part of this game, but the soundtrack rocks, I love the soundtrack, it's a banger!

Majority say this is the worst Sonic game of all time. That this is Sonic at his worst. Yeah I don't believe that. I think this game is just mid. I love how the levels look in the game. I enjoyed having to create my own avatar. They did a great job with many different species. Though I do wish they would add in species of what animals the other Sonic characters are. Infinite looks so damn cool. Voice acting is decent enough. Story is... eh? Fist Bump is incredible. Let's start off by addressing Sonic "dying." I mean I know he wasn't gonna actually die. But I don't get what's the point of showing them knocking out Sonic and making him seem like he's dead... Just to have two cutscenes later of "NAH WE'RE JUST **** WITH YA! SONIC IS ALIVE!" They could've have the reveal shown later on and have the game get longer. The stages felt either too short, too easy, or honestly both. Most of the stages I basically say, "Wait that's it? They weren't this short when I was younger." Tails is basically useless here. I'm sorry but he was fine with taking on Chaos 4 but acted scared with Chaos freaking 0.... Nostalgia is used bad here. The concept of using villains from different Sonic games for this game is a great idea! But the execution is where it's a problem. The boss fights honestly are garbage. They felt way too easy and not all that interesting. No Chaos boss fight? No Fake Shadow Boss? Classic Sonic music for the stages is just... bad. Why is Knuckles even commander when he just got so many of the soldiers taken out? The customization for the Avatar didn't feel satisfying at all. Don't even get me started on Infinite... I like what they did design wise, but they wasted him completely and didn't do anything interesting with him. I mean... he became a villain just because Shadow called him weak... They could've at least done something with this instead of making him weak as hell. Honestly, this game feels so damn rushed. The writing is badly written. Nostalgia baiting the fans isn't fun at all. I feel like they should've delayed this game more just to rework it better. It's just decent as of my opinion. I feel like this game gets too much hate. And I mean more hate than 06 and Boom Rise of Lyric. Not even the worst Sonic game, but my god is it not the best.

I Loved it back then but now I think it could be better but I'm being Generous Trust me if I was mad then I'd give this Game like 2 or 3.

This is Sonic Generations but worst in every aspect possible, the gameplay is hilariously bad , the story is inconsistent, but the ost is kinda banger , but at end , it's the worst Sonic game ever made in my opinion even worst than 06 .

Fué mi primer juego de sonic en 3d. Había pasado mucho tiempo hasta que tuve la oportunidad de jugarlo. Mi mente de 12 años no procesaba que era mediocre. En su momento fué mi juego favorito, pero hoy por hoy lo veo como un juego aburrido y que no logró ser lo que quería ser. sus jugabilidades (3) son en general mediocres. La de sonic moderno me parece la más entretenida, pero no entiendo cómo pasamos de generations a un diseño tan automatizado. Algunos niveles duran 1 minuto y se pasan apretando el boost. La customización del avatar la sentí sosa y el sonic clásico se siente lento y pesado.

Il gioco non è male, non ho capito molto sulla trama che ho trovato al quanto confusa ma del resto è ok. Il gioco secondo me è troppo breve e veloce o perlomeno io l'ho trovato così, e le sessioni durano pochissimo. I boss sono troppo semplici e non mi ha dato nulla di che, però il mood che dá non mi è per nulla dispiaciuto. È molto carino che si possa fare un proprio avatar ma forse avrei preferito essere un **** classico di Sonic, anche se è bello sbizzarrirsi per fare il proprio ****. Per il resto il gioco è ok, non è un capolavoro ma nemmeno è un gioco terribile. Lo consiglio

The game itself is way too easy and feels short. But the presentation it puts out is what I appreciate. And finally, everyone works together instead of rivaling.

I do belive that this game was not the best i do like the avatar we make but is should have better story like where on earth did infinte **** did not get defeated. But its all right

Forces is genuinely terrible, coming off of Mania Forces is just a disgrace on every way imagineble bringing back Santiago for no reason when Generations and Mania gave us enough of Santiago was terrible decidion and writing is horrible none of the characters have any actual personality level design is **** bosses are **** final boss is **** Infinite is **** EVERYTHING is ****, i bought this game on PS+ and i still feel scammed despite i got it for free, dont buy Forces whatever you do

i dont know how good this is on ps4, probably about as good as pc. its just metacritic wont let me "unrate" this on ps4 and i dont want a blank review on my page. I'd rate metacritcs rating system a 6/10.

For some demonic reason I managed to enjoy this mother ****** game. It has a LOT of issues but somehow I like it. It has a really bad and like an employee ran out of ideas story because it is not good at all. A solid 7.

Look, I know this games REEKS of lost potential, but to me it was pretty enjoyable. I know that it took Sega 4 years to develop this game, but if they focused on the actual game and not just the visuals, I'm sure it would be a 10 out of a 10.

As simple as this game is, the subject matter, framing, and timing was the most valuable thing to me and I won’t have anyone make me believe otherwise. Only I know what I like and I liked Sonic Forces.

This game is trash. It has poor gameplay, awful story and the characters are lifeless. The ONLY kind of good thing about this game are the graphics which, don't get me wrong, are bad, but for a Sonic game, they're decent. Infinite is . The levels are 1 minute long and the boss fights areone of rhe easiests of alla time. Ifyou want to play a good sonic game, go play Sonic Unleashed or Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

somehow when i played the game i actually enjoyed it. sure theres a lot of issues with it but as a complete game its nice and i liked it

Its very bland and uninteresting. Levels can be tedious but also too easy sometimes. The music is good atleast but the rest of the game is just boring with none of that fun boost gameplay we got beforehand. I did enjoy customising the avatar and replaying levels to try and get a better rank. Episode shadow is free but also very bland and short. Overall this game isnt the best but I still can get enjoyment out of it.

Sonic forces é um bom jogo com ideias desperdiçadas, o infinite é um bom vilão eu gosto do level design do jogo o game foi feito pra correr sem parar, a história é umas das melhores coisas do jogo e a direção de arte combinou com o estilo de guerra do game, o avatar é uma adição muito boa poderia vim em mais jogos, enfim recomendo

Eh sure this game has good music and visuals and some stages are fun to speedrun but most levels have bad level design, Tedious to fully playthrough The story is alright but usually sonic games have incredible stories so it makes this game seem not special its been very trendy as of late to hate on this game but its just kinda bad but not VERY bad as people say

Honestly the game is kinda overhated. People saying it's worse than 06 never played the original **** isn't horrible it's just mid. The Soundtrack is a banger. I liked infinite and the avatar stages we're fun. But that's where the good stuff ends. The story is **** gameplay and bosses are just suuuuper boring. Chaos didn't even get a boss **** it makes no sense that classic sonic and the wisps are in the **** game is way too short and it was lazy reusing levels/locations (green hill, chemical plant, you get the point).Overall the game is mid and if you wanna play it you should wait until the game goes on sale for like 10€

most Underrated sonic game. its short and easy but its good introduction to new players. graphics and music are Peak story isnt even bad,ep.Shadow has the best three awesome gameplay styles fun content

Un jeu que j'ai adoré depuis longtemps en 2017 et puis quand j'ai acheté ça m'a déjà rappelé des souvenirs je sais que le jeu est vraiment pas le meilleur mais ça reste un bon jeu Sonic donc c'est mon avis

if the game was longer it wouldve been alot better i like the story though and fist bump is ok and the double boost is really cool! but if u wanted to bring back the egg dragoon maybe a 3d boss fight wouldve been better but it fits!,but the things that set it back are the jokes and the games too small i like the gameplay and the bosses are alright the ost is obviously good impreial tower fading world is underrated but also there was no reason to bring back classic sonic it was a reason for generations but in forces classic sonic had crap to do with it overall this game is saved by shadow generations

VERY disappointing and boring the gameplay is bad, there's barely even anything you need to do the story is bad, that's it the music is also surprisingly not good for a sonic game??? classic sonic and the avatar were not necessary, just gimmicks with bad gameplay and the tone, it tried to be serious but with that writing, it didn't do it overal, this game is worse than 06, atleast 06 tried, forces didn't even try

Honestly thisgame is overhated, maybe the stages are a bit lacking in some regards, but as a sonic game, i think it is definitely fun during a first playtrough. And i platinumed this game on ps5, and had a lot of fun, but i dont think that applies to everyone, but when it is on sale for a few bucks it is definitly worth a playtrough and then play the extra stages which are probably some of the most fun!

The new Customizable character is cool and the environmental progression is great. For a game, it’s Average. But that’s because it is an above average series in general.

Ok this game is pretty good there is a lot of bad levels but some levels are just fun the linear level design is one of the cons most people point out but i kinda like the level design of the game also buy this game when its on sale thats what i recommend

Sonic Forces, is just mediocre. It's certanly my least favourite sonic game. There's very few sonic games I hate, and this is one of them.

this is a very basic game, with the worst boost gameplay I've seen, the classic Sonic gameplay is worse than any other Sonic game, the level design is mediocre, and the story feels like a fanfic, the avatar character creation is great but his level design does not incentivize using the different wispons, overall i'd say this is a mediocre that could have been great if it had more time in the oven

Gotta be one of the most boring games I've ever played. Reused boss fight patterns, and some very short levels to the point where you're kind of shocked the stage is already over. Other than the fairly decent avatar creator, this **** blows.

Yo lo jugué en 2023, y no fui engañado ni mal esperanzado por hype; al principio lo sentí simple y muy corto. Pero creo que su mayor valor está en su re-jugabilidad. Para mí mejor que colors, lo peor el avatar simple y sin gracia.

Sonic Forces is not perfect, but dammit, I love it, first the bad, at times the characters don't really act like if they were in a warzone, the game can be very automated and Classic Sonic in his entirety shouldn't be in this game, however, other than that, the game has some really great moments, the story while being nowhere near as close as the level of storytelling from SA2 or Frontiers is still a massive step up in quality from all the stories from Colors onward, Sonic's gameplay feels responsive, good and fast, the Avatar is an extremely fun addition to the saga with tons of customizable elements and the music goes incredibly hard, some of my favorites being Egg Gate and Imperial Tower from level's 9 and 25 respectively are my personal favorites and also the DLC is fantastic, on top of free you get essentially a prequel mini story with more challenging and thought provoking level design than that of the base game as well as allowing you to play as Shadow in both the mini story as well as every modern sonic level from the base game as well as Super Sonic for both classic and modern. I can honestly understand why most people aren't big on the game but to me there are a lot of things that make it a really fun time for me, I recommend it if you keep your expectations low but don't expect anything from the creme de la creme of the series, still though a really fun time for me
