Dreamworks Madagascar: Operation Penguin8
Jul 7, 2026
This game is a pretty fun experience for a game on the Gameboy Advance. The levels are creative. Soundtrack is nice. Designs of characters are cool. Stealth gameplay, though not the best, is kinda fun. Platforming is good. I also love how that brought the "This ****" scene in this game which is a classic moment from the movies series. Great game for fans of the Penguins and Madagascar.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy9

It's very easy to see why everyone loves the Spyro games. Amazing cartoony artstyle that fits so well with each level and home world you enter. It controls greatly. It graphically looks very great. The platforming and gliding is so good. The bosses are very fun. The story in each game is simple but very good. I like how each story gets better after each game. Just a true gem of a trilogy.

God this game is just... amazing. I love every single thing about it. It looks good graphically. The art direction with each level is flawless. Platforming is amazing. I love how some of the bonus levels gets challenging throughout all the levels as you keep playing. Really love how wholesome and cute this game can be. The Playstation bots they have are just shocking and amazing. Some of them make me happy while some makes me shocked and make me go "Wow they really bring this person back?" And I mean that as a good thing. Love the levels inspired by the playstation games. Each one really can't help make me smile. Boss fights are pretty fun. Just an amazing and a masterpiece of a video game. One of the best 3D platformers I have ever played and one of the best platformers that I ever played overall. With its fun platforming and challenging bonus levels. Even besides all of the playstation bots you need to rescue, it's still amazing. Hoping to see more Astro Bot games from Team Asobi.3 likes

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)0

The characterization is amazing. The soundtrack is top tier and one of my favorites in the entire series AND overall. Shadow's Story is well written. The CGI cutscenes are just gorgeous. The loading screens. Yeah my god they are bad. I'm sure they aren't as bad as on Xbox, but man on Playstation can they be long as hell and annoying. When you talk to an NPC, they gave you a side quest and you said yes and loading screen. Then give you information that's obvious or that you already know and... loading screen. It's crazy that you need a loading screen just for a single piece of dialogue to get into ANOTHER loading screen. The story as a whole though? Is garbage. Awful. Convoluted. Filled with plot holes. Sonic's story is god awful. Silver's story is bad. Elise is such a boring and bland character that I can't find anything great about her. Nothing special about her like with Blaze, Amy, and Rouge. Just.... nothing. They hardly used Blaze AT ALL until the ending of Silver's story. Which is disappointing. The gameplay.... My god it is... such a awful experience. The level design is god awful. The stages don't seem finished. The gameplay is glitchy and buggy. For example, in Wave Ocean when you're being chase by killer whales, you could miss a dash pad through no fault of your own yet the game is supposed to push you to the next dash pad. The mach speed sections are badly designed and terrible. It seems like a good idea, but the execution is bad.Besides Sonic, Blaze, and Shadow. I hated how each character plays. Knuckles and Rouge get stuck on walls and can't even get off until the game demands it. Tails, Amy, and Silver is slow as hell. The enemy AI is garbage. The boss designs are awful. Silver's gameplay is the worst out of everyone's. I hate how we have to go through the blue side quests in order to go through the story because it just feels like they are trying to pad out the game. The physics are god awful. The game looks ugly. The models are the humans characters look so ugly. Its graphics are just awful. I mean.... how is it that Beyond Good and Evil (a game released on Gamecube) looks better than this game. Uncharted Drake's Fortune on PS3 looks better than this. Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. Hell Sly 3 looks better than this game. How is that possible that this game looks worse than a PS2 game? Overall, one of the worst Sonic games I have experience. From its gameplay to its story. Although there are things to praise, the huge amount of flaws outweighs all of the good. It's clear that this game had potential, but Sega of course got way too involved and rushed Sonic Team from the product to be at its full potential. Just an extremely bad game that got rushed and unfinished and is a complete broken product.

DreamWorks Madagascar 3: The Video Game4
Jul 7, 2026
This game is graphically better than the other two movie games I played before. Voice acting is very **** areas of Rome, Pisa, Paris, and London look very good. The abilities each character has is very unique. London felt too short. At least with the other three levels they have the right about of length. This game doesn't feel as fun as the other two games. In the other games, they have a lot of creativity and variety to them. But in this game. there is little to no creativity. The loading screens feel so annoying. After every mission there is always a loading screen. I wouldn't have that much problem with it, but during the circus parts of the levels, there is literally a loading screen after the minigames there. That are only 2 minutes long and mandatory. Remember when Captain Dubois is the main villain of the movie? Well the only thing that she is involved with is just these very short chase sections. That's it. She got wasted so bad. The disguise mechanic in the game doesn't work all the time. I remember there were a few times where I use the disguise mechanic to sneak past Animal Control, but for some reason I got caught. Also the disguise mechanic makes you go so slow. You were already going slow when not using the disguise, but they make you go so damn slower than usual. The AI for your partner, when you're playing single player, is so bad. Literally so many points where the AI literally feels broken or it makes the character it controls go away from where they are supposed to go. Even though there is a New York circus part, there is no New York level. Which is strange since New York is basically their home. They even made Dubois get defeated so damn easily. Yep. The main villain of Madagascar 3, defeated by her own trap. It honestly feels like the New York level was cut from the game and they want to rush it just to finish it. Overall, this was incredibly disappointing. The gameplay is uninteresting, some of the mechanics aren't good at all or don't even work all the time, and there was hardly any creativity with this game. I wouldn't recommend this at all. Just play the first two movie games if you like.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky10

What an amazing experience this was. The story is written amazingly. The bond between you and your partner is done well. The ending is so emotional and sad. The gameplay, though it's different from how it is from the mainline game, is designed so great and fun. This game is also one of the best looking DS games to ever release. Both in terms of graphics and definitely in terms of art direction. The soundtrack is so amazing. I can't find any OST that I just dislike. I just love the soundtrack. My only issue of this game is when your partner gets low on health or if you turn corners, your partners will leave you and it gets annoying because you need both you and your partner to stay alive to advance dungeons. This could result into going into battles and dying. But besides that, one of the best games I have ever played. I recommend.

Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi2
Jul 7, 2026
This is honestly worse than I remember. Let's go over the pros of the game. Soundtrack sounds very great. The game looks visually great. Voice acting is amazing. The 2D animated cutscenes are amazing. Also love that they have the Cha-La-Head-Cha-La song for the game's intro. And yeah that's it. No I'm dead serious. I'm gonna be straight. This game is very bad. Notice how I didn't say ANYTHING about the gameplay? Well it **** ass. It's literally rock paper scissors. The "combat" is just attack with square. Press one button over and over to do the combo. Attack with square again. Do it with the other button. Rinse and repeat. No changing your combos. Nothing. The game is just braindead easy where you can win with mostly just spamming one button and sometimes just two buttons. The animations felt way too similar to where they don't feel diffeent at all. The cinematics are too similar to where it feels repetitive. Characters have good animation in some cutscenes but mostly, there is no animations. They all move in the cutscenes in the exact same way. The giant battles aren't really designed well and my god the button mash segment is horrible. I couldn't get through the Great Ape Vegeta fight until I had to look at the comments of an old video. I was literally mad at the way to beat it. The recovering mechanic doesn't work half the time and the counter mechanic **** ass and has bad timing. The roster is just... pitiful. I wouldn't have to say that if this isn't a tenkaichi game. But since it is technically a tenkaichi game, yeah this seems pitiful compared to Budokai Tenkaichi 3 with a much bigger roster filled with so many characters. Also there's literally no point in adding in GT characters since the only ones they added in are SSJ4 Gogeta and Omega Shenron. I would say Great Ape Baby Vegeta but he doesn't count because he is only available in the hero mode. They could've added in Pan, GT Trunks, GT Vegeta, hell SSJ4 Vegeta, SSJ4 GOKU, GT Goku, Super 17, any of the other Shenrons. Also yeah the hero mode? It's okay at best. Character creation is fun but is way too shallow. Story though is really mid. Not all that good. The voice acting despite being very great, is way too inconsistent. What do I mean by this? Well for certain characters. They keep switching their voices from the Kai dub voices to the original english Funimation dub. It's way too distracting. I mean take a look at Kid Gohan and Teen Gohan. The story mode is also not great because it's just mostly told through expedition and cuts a lot of stuff out. Overall, this is definitely one of the worst Dragon Ball games I have ever played filled with braindead easy and repetitive gameplay that's way too boring. A lackluster adaptation of the story from the anime. And a disappointing roster. Just play DBZ Kakarot, FighterZ, any of the Budokai games, any of the Budokai Tenkaichi games, any Raging Blast games, or hell even any of the Xenoverse games.

Sonic Forces5

Majority say this is the worst Sonic game of all time. That this is Sonic at his worst. Yeah I don't believe that. I think this game is just mid. I love how the levels look in the game. I enjoyed having to create my own avatar. They did a great job with many different species. Though I do wish they would add in species of what animals the other Sonic characters are. Infinite looks so damn cool. Voice acting is decent enough. Story is... eh? Fist Bump is incredible. Let's start off by addressing Sonic "dying." I mean I know he wasn't gonna actually die. But I don't get what's the point of showing them knocking out Sonic and making him seem like he's dead... Just to have two cutscenes later of "NAH WE'RE JUST **** WITH YA! SONIC IS ALIVE!" They could've have the reveal shown later on and have the game get longer. The stages felt either too short, too easy, or honestly both. Most of the stages I basically say, "Wait that's it? They weren't this short when I was younger." Tails is basically useless here. I'm sorry but he was fine with taking on Chaos 4 but acted scared with Chaos freaking 0.... Nostalgia is used bad here. The concept of using villains from different Sonic games for this game is a great idea! But the execution is where it's a problem. The boss fights honestly are garbage. They felt way too easy and not all that interesting. No Chaos boss fight? No Fake Shadow Boss? Classic Sonic music for the stages is just... bad. Why is Knuckles even commander when he just got so many of the soldiers taken out? The customization for the Avatar didn't feel satisfying at all. Don't even get me started on Infinite... I like what they did design wise, but they wasted him completely and didn't do anything interesting with him. I mean... he became a villain just because Shadow called him weak... They could've at least done something with this instead of making him weak as hell. Honestly, this game feels so damn rushed. The writing is badly written. Nostalgia baiting the fans isn't fun at all. I feel like they should've delayed this game more just to rework it better. It's just decent as of my opinion. I feel like this game gets too much hate. And I mean more hate than 06 and Boom Rise of Lyric. Not even the worst Sonic game, but my god is it not the best.

Batman: Arkham Asylum9
Jul 7, 2026
What a great way to return to the Arkham series. I forgot how amazing this game is. The story is great. Combat, though still aged does holds up very well. Gadgets are very useful. Stealth is very good. The soundtrack is just amazing and fits the feel of this game and Batman. The artstyle of this game is amazing. Fits the gothic feel of Asylum. Poison Ivy's boss is pretty good though not the best. The Scarecrow sections are great and gives a horror feel to it. The Killer Croc section is also great. The voice acting is amazing. I really love the death cutscenes you get during certain sections of the game. Though let's get this out of the way. The bosses. Yeah they are not good. Not that they are badly designed. They aren't. It's just that every single one of them, except Poison Ivy feels just the same. This goes into another issue I have with the game where the final boss, which is Titan Joker, was disappointing. Very disappointing. Thank god bosses got better in City and Origins! Overall, an amazing game for Batman fans that's considered to being one of my all time favorite games. If the bosses were a lot better and not very samesy (is that the word I wanna use?) and the combat would be a bit more polished then I would rate it a bit higher

DreamWorks Bee Movie Game0
Jul 7, 2026
Okay.... I know what you're thinking, "What are the positives in this game? What are the pros?" And to that I will answer it. Let's see. Well... the voice actors return to voice the characters. Besides that...? No.... There is nothing else that I can say is good about this game.. The jobs that you have to do in order to progress through the game, is some of the most boring, repetitive, annoying, and tedious parts of the game which makes it completely drag on and on and on. It feels like it is trying to make us fill in the game's length time. It just feels like filler. On top of that, there is no indication of when you are even supposed to advance in the story. You might ask that if I at least have fun with the jobs? No.... No I didn't. They aren't even fun at all. Not that the jobs are hard at all. Just boring and tedious. For the combat sections against the wasps, all you basically do is mash one button to go through. That's what I did and it just made me so bored. The cutscenes didn't feel finished yet since there is no music in them. Just this dead awkward silence in the games' cutscenes. The voice acting felt so deadpanned and "I only want a paycheck" from how uninterested everyone sounded. The human boss battles are just the same. Just buzz around, dodge an attack, QTE, rinse and repeat. Nothing really interesting. Also the humor is just awful. Bee Movie had so much great humor and yet for this game, the humor felt so dry. For example, there is a joke where Barry has to follow Montgomery through a long chase section and then it was revealed that the place where we need to follow him to... is across the street. Why on EARTH would ANYONE find that funny? Please tell me why would anyone find that funny? Overall, this might be one of if not the WORST Dreamworks game I have ever played. Hell this is one of the worst licensed based games I have ever played. Hell this is one the worst games I have played OVERALL. This is one of the most boring, tedious, annoying, obnoxious, games I have ever played. I never want to play this game ever again. Unless someone paid me too- actually no. Even if someone offered me money, I still would never play it.
