What the hell even is this game anymore??? I personally wouldn’t be that bothered that this is not a serious competitive game anymore. I could just move on knowing Fortnite as just “the guest character game.” But of course they’re going all in on ai slop! And what on god’s earth is that peanut sidekick or whatever they’re called?!

Cult of the Lamb presents a cool premise with aesthetics that emphasizes the dark fantasy/horror and creative choices that help the vibes and gameplay function. While mixing an action roguelite style campaign with a town simulator core, the game offers various different things to do that are all synergized for an addicting, challenging, and satisfying gameplay loop. Top it off with fun boss fights, mini games, and social mechanics, Cult of the Lamb was one of the best impulse purchases I’ve ever made!

As simple as this game is, the subject matter, framing, and timing was the most valuable thing to me and I won’t have anyone make me believe otherwise. Only I know what I like and I liked Sonic Forces.
